While Hayven, who Naruto was slowly brainwashing into introducing himself as Minato to their Japanese neighbors to increase their amicability, was busy battling more paperwork to solidify their stay in Japan, Naruto was slowly making his presence known to all their neighbors in a positive light. So far, he has yet to meet any disagreeable old men.

Don't know why he was expecting a Danzo-like figure in the neighborhood but he was just being careful. Better safe than sorry after all.

Naruto had even gone as far as greeting the police officers that patrol the neighborhood. He buttered them up by saying how impressed he was of their discipline and dedication to the neighborhood's safety. He then let slip that he couldn't really trust the police officers from his old country. It was a sad reality but it felt like criminals have greater authority there than soldiers of justice like them. Needless to say, he scored a lot of point with them. He also purposefully showed pictures of him and Hayven so that they will keep an eye out for his dad or maybe even lend a helpful hand here and there?

Other than lip service, it wasn't like he was bribing them.

But Naruto has a different purpose talking to all the people in his neighborhood. From listening to the elderlies sharing stories of grandkids and new recipes, he also learned about the security state of the area. So far the worse that had happened was some pervert being chased by an angry guard dog only to be caught by the patrolling police officer for stealing underwear. Worse, he was stealing men's underwear. When he learned that the owner was a rather handsome man who owned a saloon, Naruto quickly find ways to secure his dad's underwear.

Call him biased but it has been proven even from the other Naruto's memories that Hayven was a catch, either for a serious relationship or a fling. When Hayven asked about his sudden worry about underwear thieves, Naruto told him what he heard from his 'sweet new friends'. Hayven was flustered at the idea someone would steal a man's underwear, but then he pointed out, "Naruto...you look just like me. I think you should worry about yourself more,"

It was then Naruto recalled the most embarrassing capture done by his ANBU guards that was stationed around his home. Of course it wasn't really them but Hinata. An avid fan of his somehow managed to get to his laundry and Hinata had wrestled his narutomaki pattern boxer out of their hands. It didn't make into the evening news but his friends definitely heard about it. Sasuke only looked smugly at him and Naruto could hear his voice mentally whispering 'suffer' at him.

It was embarrassing that he had to station guards for his laundry.

So now he sat in his room drawing up security seals for their home. Hayven had found a paper and had scolded him, "Be careful with inks! They are not all that easy to wash out, you know!" Apparently it looked like blots of inky accidents to him.

Naruto clucked his tongue, "Damn perverts. I just can't get away from them, dattebayo!" He then made sure that Hayven was busy before getting to work, "Now...to find spaces that he won't notice these seals...why is he such a house husband?"

That weekend Naruto thanked his elderly neighbor Suzume, "Thanks for that tips for the molds, Suzume-san. I'm sure they will be really useful when I clean up the bathroom. Who knew I can use tissues like that?"

He was just being polite. Hinata had showed him how after she battled the molds that had grown in his bathroom from his month long mission absence back when they were just dating.

Suzume was satisfied that a youngster would listen to her nonetheless, "Oh you! Say hello to that handsome father of yours for me!"

It seemed Hayven had become a celebrity in the neighborhood...just as planned. Naruto had used the apps in his smartphone (that seriously felt smarter than him) to edit his dad's face as much as he realistically can. In the meantime, he had also started to pamper Hayven with facials, citing; "You need to take better care of your skin, you know. Looking healthy can help boost your immunity, after all,"
