Alright, she made up her mind but somehow that didn't make coming forward any easier. Somehow coming to a decision to take that step only make her feel more scared than when she's not sure how to approach Naruto. Before long, it's Tanabata season. Their school has decided to hold their annual Cultural Festival with Tanabata and already the students were seen running trying to get things up for their chosen theme.

Hinata and Naruto had become so busy dealing with the paperwork generated by the most famous and anticipated school festival that they simply does not have time for personal matters. Not to mention that Neji had graduated last March, crowning Naruto as his successor much to the blonde's consternation. But for all his complaining, he ran the council like a dictator. Except he bullied the council with smiles and empathy. Hinata doesn't know how he does it but she supposed he has experience with this sort of things. Besides, this must be smaller in scale compared to what he had to do in his past life.

He can be heard grumbling about not being buried by papers this time around...

Then Sasuke came to him with a conflicted look, "Hey, uh...can you be our vocalist? My cousin was the previous vocalist and he already graduated,"

Naruto looked up from where he had been furiously filing all the forms that had been coming in since earlier that week, "Seriously?" He looked at all the paperwork, "Well...I am almost at the end for this part of the festival. Fortunately everybody has been cooperating and send in their budget requests early,"

Maybe because he's done something far more complicated than budgeting and directing the students in preparation for an event, Naruto breezed through his work. He followed Sasuke out the door but stopped to look at Hinata, "Want to come with?"

Hinata blushed, "Of course!"

Sasuke huffed but said nothing. He's not seeing anyone after failing to start anything with Naruto and he's not really as bad with his pining as he once was with Naruto. But forgive him if he does feel that desire to be alone with Naruto at times when he can catch the blond. He was just grateful that Naruto didn't avoid him after what happened and treated him as he always did. Sasuke has a feeling that he will always pine for Naruto but he supposed there's no helping it.

They reached the Light Music club and Naruto stared at the band's equipment. They looked used but well taken care of. He looked at Sasuke, "So, who else will be on the band?"

Sasuke cleared his throat, "Well, there's Haku. He plays the guitar and bass. I play the drums. Inari plays the keyboard. We are only missing the vocalist,"

Naruto raised a brow, "Just you three?"

Sasuke shrugged, "There used to be six of us. Hopefully with performance we could attract new blood from the freshmen,"

He looked around when the club room's door opened and two boys stopped at the sight of Naruto and Hinata. Inari asked Sasuke, "Are we in trouble?"

Naruto quickly smiled at him, "Trouble? No! I'm just here to...I guess start learning how to sing,"

Haku looked worried, "Learn how to sing?"

Inari raised a brow at Sasuke, "Seriously? Dude, I know you have feeling for the Seitokaichou, but you shouldn't let your feelings get in the way of our club!"

Naruto quickly get between the two, "Whoa, whoa! Calm down! He had asked me to join to club last semester. I just...got more important thing to do,"

Inari pulled away from him in disgust, "Yeah? He just wants to make the club room his love nest," He turned around, "I'm leaving. You faggots disgust me,"

Naruto raised a brow as the boy left. He looked around at Sasuke and found the Uchiha blushing red in embarrassment and shame. Naruto looked at Haku, "Has he always been that way?"
