Chapter 3

A few days later...

Sai was tensed would be an understatement. Patraleka had made fake allegations on her and Pulkit, then Virat had added onto her problems by barging into Satya's cabin during the investigation and now kaku's attempt to put a pressure on investigatory officer had made things worst for her. The judge had announced that the verdict will be given after the lunch break. She was walking to and forth outside the court.

Virat - Sai plz kuch kha lo...aur tension mat lo case tum hi jeetogi.

Pakhi - Really Virat....yha maine subah se kuch nhi khaya hai....aur tumhe iss Sai ki padi hai.

Virat - Pakhi tum kuch mat kaho to behtar hoga....tumne jo kiya hai na uske bad mai tumhe kabhi maaf nahi karunga.

Before Pakhi could speak anything further, the break got over. Everyone rushed inside the court. Pakhi was internally smiling.

The judge was going to announce the verdict when someone interrupted.

Satya - Ek min my lord. Ye court koi faisla sunaye isse pehle main Mrs. Patralekha Chavan se kuch puchna chahta hu.

Judge - Permission granted.

Satya - To aap batayiye Mrs. Chavan ki Dr. Sai ke bare aapke personal thoughts kaise hain ?

Pakhi - Mai pehle bhi keh chuki hu ki ye ladki mujhe Zara bhi pasand nahi hai.

Satya - Boht gussa aata hoga na aapko inpar. Lekin aapko nahi lagta ki aapko bechari banne ki bajaye inhe ye ehsas dilana chahiye ki vo Ghar vo pariwar aapka hai, Mr. Virat Chavan aapke pati hai aur ye chahe kitni kosish kar le ye sab aapse nahi chin sakti ....ya phir aapko doormat banane ka shauk hai boliye...

Pakhi - Mai koi doormat nhi hu. Sai mujhse Mera pariwar nahi cheen sakti...aur yahi samjhane ke liye maine Sai par case kiya hai.

Satya - Aur isiliye aapne uss jagah vaar kiya Jahan inhe sabse jyada dard hoga. Aapne in par ye jhoota case kiya taki Inka medical license cancel kar diya jaye...inki identity inse chinn jaye...inke sare sapne bikhar jaye.

Pakhi - Han ! Isiliye kiya maine ye case. Kyuki Sai agar mujhse mera Pati aur pariwar chinne ki koshish kregi to main usse uska sab kuch cheen lungi.

As Pakhi blurted out those words Satya looked at her with a smirk.

Satya - That's it. The truth is out my lord.

The judge announced the verdict in the favour of Sai and Pulkit.

Satya looked at Sai. Sai thanked him through her eyes and Satya too acknowledged it with a nod. Their eye lock was noticed by Virat.

Everybody was congratulating her when she saw Satya going out of the courtroom.

Sai - Dr. Satya ek minute.

She came and stood infront of him. Everyone was looking at them.

Satya - Kya ho gaya Dr. Chidhku Joshi ji....aaj bhi dantna hai kya mujhe ?

Sai - Dr. Headache.... iss bar mujhe headache diya nhi balki Mera headache dur kar diya. Thank you so much. Aapne meri madat Kari.

Satya - Thank you bolne ki zarurat nahi hai Dr. Joshi. Maine bas apni job Kari hai. Mai ek doctor hone ke nate ek ache aur kabil doctor ke sath galat nahi hone de sakta tha. Aur vaise bhi Satya naam hai mera to sach ka sath to Dena hi tha.

Sai - Vo jo kuch bhi ho. Aapki vajah se hi mai aaj ye case jeet payi. Aapka ye ehsan mai zindagi bhar nahi bhul paungi.

Satya - Iss ehsan ko chukane ka ek tareeka hai.

Sai - Kya ?

Satya - Kal jab hum investigation ke liye saath gaye the na to Maine ye notice Kiya ki jab hum sath milkar koi kam krte hain to vo kam boht ache se aur aasani se ho jata hai. We make a perfect team. So isliye Dr. Joshi...(forwarding his hand) Kya aap mujhse dosti karengi ? Friends ?

Sai (smilingly keeping her hand in his palm) - Friends. Lekin aapko mujhe mere naam se bulana padega. Mere friends mujhe Dr. Joshi kehkar nahi bulate.

Satya - Thik hai lekin aapko bhi mujhe mere naam se bulana padega.

Sai - Agreed.

Virat was fuming with jealousy seeing the interaction between Sai and Satya. He quickly interrupted their conversation.

Virat - Dr. Satya thank you so much.

Satya - It's ok Mr. Chavan.

Virat - Sai ghar chalein ?

Sai - Tum baki sabko lekar Ghar jao..... mai manage kar lungi.

Virat - Are...lekin...

Satya - Umm....yha se hospital Jane ke liye aapke ghar ke taraf hokar hi Jana padega...To Sai... If you don't mind mai tumhe Chavan Niwas drop kar du ?

Sai - Ah...tumhe koi problem to nahi hogi ?

Satya - Not at all.

Sai - Sure then.

Satya - Chalein ?

Sai - Ofcourse. Virat mai Satya ke sath Ghar ja rahi hun. Bye.

Before Virat could say anything, Sai left the court room alongside Satya.
