Sai - Mai kuch help kar du ?

Satya - Nhi nhi mai karlunga. Don't worry. And sorry...

Sai (internally upset) - It's ok Satya.. koi baat nhi. Mai chalti hu. Good night.

Satya - Good night.

Satya smirked as Sai left the room.

Sai was lying on her bed. Sleep was away from her eyes.

Sai (in mind) - Aaj hospital mein Satya se ek baar bhi baat nhi hui. Aur ab usne coffee ke liye bhi mana kar diya. Khi subah jo hua uski vajah se to...nhi nhi. Plz bappa... Jo mai soch rhi hu aisa kuch na ho plz.

As the clock struck 12, Sai heard a knock on her door. She got up and opened the door to find no one but a piece of paper lying on the floor. She picked it up. It had a message written on it.

"You're the best mother in the world."

The corridor and the living room was dimly lit. She saw another paper lying at a distance.

"You are the most amazing daughter."

One more paper.

"You're a phenomenal doctor."

"You are the best friend one could ask for."

Sai reached the stairs. She saw another paper lying in the centre of the living room. She descended the stairs and picked up that paper.

"Uss upar wale ne tujhe badi fursat se banaya hai.
Chaand bhi tere saade husn ke aage phika hai.
Tu muskuraye to sara jag haseen lagta hai.
Tu murjhaye to dil toot jaata hai.
Tere chehre par humesha khushi dekhna aakhiri tamanna hai humari.
Mit jaye tere sare dukh yhi duaa hai humari.

Satya turned on the lights while Vinu and Savi blew the party poppers from the either side. All of them shouted in a chorus.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY"

Sai stood surprised for a few seconds and then realised everything. A joyful smile crept on her lips. Vinu and Savi ran and hugged her.

Savi and Vinu - Happy Birthday Aai

Sai - Thank you so much bada. Aapko yaad tha ?

Savi - Kya yaar Aai ! apni Aai ka birthday koi bhulta hai bhala.

Satya came and side hugged her.

Satya - Happy Birthday Sai.

Sai - Thank you so much Satya...par... tumhe kaise pata ?

Savi - Maine bataya tha uss din jab hum Amba aji ke ghar gye the na tab. Aur tabhi humne ye surprise bhi plan kiya tha.

Sai - Oh... to do din se ye khusur phusur chal rhi thi tum teeno ke beech mein.

Savi and Vinu giggled and high-fived with Satya. Satya then excused himself and went to the kitchen. He returned with a cake in his hands. He placed it on the table and lit the candles.

Satya (handing over the knife to her) - Chalo ab jaldi se ye cake cut karo.

Sai cut the cake along with Savi and Vinu and then fed the cake to them. She then fed the cake to Satya. Satya thought of a mischief and he applied the cake on her face. Sai hissed in irritation while the trio laughed on her expressions. Sai ran behind Satya to put cake on his face and was successful in it. In between all this fun Satya saw tears in Savi's eyes. He went to her and sat on his knees to reach her level.

Satya - Savi Bada... Kya hua aap ro kyu rahe ho ?

Sai - Savi... Kay zala bada ?

Savi - Har saal Mai Kankavli me Aai ko unke birthday par wish karti thi aur hum cake bhi cut karte the. Par Aai hai na humesha emotional ho jati thi. Vo mujhe batati nhi thi par mujhe pata tha ki vo akele mein roti thi. Aaj first time maine Aai ko unke birthday par itna happy dekha. Thank you Sattu uncle meri Aai ko itna happy karne ke liye.

Vinu - Hn Dr. Cool thank you Aai ke itne acche dost banne ke liye.

Satya too got emotional and hugged the kids while Sai controlled her tears as she didn't wanted to cry infront of her children.

Satya - Baccho aap tension mat lo. Mai na aapki Aai ko kbhi sad nhi hone dunga. Unhe humesha khush rkhne ki puri koshish karunga. I promise.

Sai smiled hearing him. She mentally thanked bappa for sending this man into her life.

Satya - Accha ab boht ho gya Rona dhona. Chalo jaldi se room mein jakar so jao. Kal school Jana hai na.

Savi - Kya yrr Sattu uncle ! Aapko itna bhi nhi pata... Kal Sunday hai.

Vinu - Hn kal hum poore din sath me rhenge. Aai ka birthday celebrate krenge aur khoob saari masti krenge.

Sai - Bada... Aapko to pata hai na... doctors ko Sunday ko bhi kam par jana hota hai.

Vinu - Plz na Aai. Kal aap dono chhutti le lo na. Plz Aai plz Dr. Cool.

Savi - Hn plz plz plz plz....

Satya - Accha accha... thik hai shant ho jao. Kal mai aur aapki Aai dono chhutti le lenge. Okay ?

Savi and Vinu - Yeah....

Satya - Chalo ab jaldi jaakar so jao. Kyunki jitna jaldi kal uthoge utna zyada time milega na enjoy karne ke liye.

Savi and Vinu - Hn hum jaa rhe hain sone. Good night.

Sai and Satya - Good night.

As Savi and Vinu left, Satya saw a teary eyed Sai.

Satya - Are ab tum bhi rone lagi.

Sai - Thank you so much Satya...

Satya - Maine mana kiya tha na ki tum mujhe kabhi thanks nhi bologi.

He came near her, lifted her face and wiped the tears.

Satya - Tum humesha haste huye acchi lagti ho. Aise rote huye nhi.

Sai - Satya...

Satya - Hmm ?

Sai - If you don't mind tumhe thodi der ke liye hug kar sakti hu ? Just a few minutes.

Satya smiled looking at her. He held her hands and pulled her into a bone crushing hug. Sai buried her head in his chest while he caressed her back. After 2 minutes Sai parted from him.

Sai - Raat boht ho gayi hai. Ab so jana chahiye.

Saying this she turned to leave but Satya held her hand.

Satya - Itni jaldi bhi kya hai ? Abhi to tumhe kuch aur bhi dikhana hai.

Sai - Aur bhi kuch hai ! Kya ?

Satya - Abhi pata chal jayega.

Satya closed her eyes with his hands and took her to the lawn.
