Chapter 21

Satya took Sai to the lawn.

Satya - Okay now I am going to open your eyes. Ready ? One two three... there you go.

Sai slowly opened her eyes only to get fascinated. The lawn was decorated with fairy lights and candles. The table was decorated with rose petals and two cups of coffee at the center with heart shaped latte art.

Satya - Kaisa laga ?

Sai - Boht sundar hai.

Satya - Tumse zyada sundar nhi hai.

Sai blushed at his comment.

Satya - Kuch kehna chahta hu tumse.

Sai - Hmm bolo.

Satya held her palm and sat down on one knee. As Sai became aware of what was coming next, her heartbeats increased. She suddenly felt nervous, excited and shy all at once.

Satya - Kabhi socha nhi tha ki tumse ye sab kahunga but I guess life hume vhi dikhati hai jo humne imagine hi na kiya ho. Pichle kuch dino mein tum mere liye itni important kaise ho gayi pata hi nhi chala. Tumne mujhpar kuch aisa asar kar diya ki meri subah bhi tumhare khayal se hoti hai aur meri raat bhi. Jab tumhe hasta hua dekhta hu to itni khushi milti hai ki mai bayan nhi kar sakta lekin jab tumhari aankhon mein aansun dekhta hu to dil toot jata hai. Tumhe dost maine apni marzi se banaya tha lekin tum dost se jaan kab ban gyi pata hi nhi chala. Tum meri zindagi ban gayi ho Sai. Pyar karne laga hun tumse. I love you Sai. I love you... Ye Dr. Headache Dr. Chidhku Joshi se boht boht boht pyar karta hai.

Sai was speechless. Tears pouring out of her eyes. She wanted to say a lot of things but couldn't. Satya on getting no response from her stood up.

Satya - Tum kuch bol kyu nhi rahi ho ?

Sai - Kya sunna chahte ho ?

Satya - Meri jagah koi aur hota to shayad haan sunna chahta lekin mai vo sunna chahta hu jo tumhare dil mein hai. Phir haa ho ya...na.

That's it. Sai knew this man was head over heels in love with her. But not only love, he respected her too. The respect which she never got in her previous relation. On getting no response from her, Satya mumbled a sorry to her and started moving back but his steps halted as Sai embraced him tightly dipping her face in his neck.

Sai - I love you Satya. I love you too.

Satya couldn't believe his ears.

Satya - Ek baar phirse bolna..

Sai - I love you my Dr. Headache. I love you so so so much.

Satya hugged her tightly. Tears coming from eyes of both of them. Satya then kissed her forehead and joined their foreheads. Sai smiled and wiped his tears.

Satya - Are... Coffee thandi ho jayegi. Chalo chalo...

Sai and Satya sat down side-hugging eachother. Satya gave one cup to her.

Sai - Satya..

Satya - Hmm ?

Sai - Tumhari family ?

Satya - Are hn. Accha hua tumne yaad dilaya.

Satya took out his phone and started calling someone.

Sai - Kise call kar rhe ho ?

Satya - Aai ko.

Sai - Itni raat ko ?

Satya - Are... Aai intezar kar rahi hogi khushkhabri ka.

Sai - Matlab, aai ko pata tha inn sabke bare mein ?

Satya - Yes my lady... Phone uth gya. Aai...

Amba - Kay hai Satya... Kabse intzar kar rhi hu. Kya hua bata na... Kya bola Sai ne ?

Satya - Ek min hn video call karta hu aap khud hi dekh lo.

Satya video called Amba. Sai tried to come out of his embrace but he pulled her back.

Sai - Are... Aai ke samne...

Here Amba picked up the call and saw the duo in that position.

Amba - Iska matlab Sai maan gayi. Bappa ! Tera lakh lakh shukar hai. Tum dono humesha khush raho aur saath raho. Accha ab mai rakhti hu. Tum dono apni date enjoy karo. Bye good night.

Satya - Good night Aai.

The call disconnected. Satya looked at a red in embarrassment Sai. She gave him a light push.

Satya - Kya hua ?

Sai - Kya hua... Kitne dusht ho tum. Aai ke samne aise... mujhe kitna embarrassing lag rha hai pata hai ?

Satya - Jab pyar kiya to darna kya meri jaan. Aur kaisa embarassment ? Dekha nhi Aai kitni khush ho gayi thi.

Sai - Are par...

Satya - No par var... Kitni unromantic ho yrr tum.

Sai - Mai unromantic hu.

Satya - Aur nhi to kya.

Sai - Abhi batati hu...

Saying this Sai suddenly pulled Satya over her. His hands landed at her back. Their faces dangerously close. Sai looked deep into his eyes. That look made his heart flutter. She then kept her one hand at the back of his neck caressing his nape and used her other hand to slowly trace her fingers on his face and jawline. Satya had a hard time controlling himself. Sai then placed a slow kiss on his right cheek. Satya closed his eyes. His breathing became heavy. He could feel her hot breaths on his face and neck. Satya opened his eyes to find Sai smirking at him.

Sai - Koyi keh raha tha ki mai boht hi unromantic hu.

Satya's revive broke. He understood that she was teasing him. He straightened himself and kept his hand on his heart to calm himself. He then smiled in surrender.

Satya - I apologise. Tum bilkul bhi unromantic nhi ho. (Smirking) Ab andar chale varna aaj raat yha limits na cross ho jaye.

Sai's cheeks became red and eyes wide in embarrassment.

Sai - Shut up. Chalo andar.

They went inside. Outside Sai's room...

Sai - Good night.

Satya - Tumse dur rehne ka dil nhi kar rha. Aur bahar jo hua uske baad to bilkul bhi nhi...

Sai - Satya...apne kamre mein jao. Go.

Satya (coming closer to her) - Ye jante huye bhi ki ghar mein hum dono akele hain... Mai control kaise karunga.

Sai - Ghar me bacche hain.

Satya - Bacche to chhote chhote hai... unhe kya pata chalega.

Sai - Satya... Jao. Go

She pushed him towards his room. Satya gave her a dramatic flying kiss and gestured a I love you using his hands. Sai too gave him a flying kiss. He then went to his room mouthing her a good night.
