I'm what you would call a people pleaser.
I'll laugh at your jokes.
I'll listen to your rants.
I'll appreciate your taste.
I'll support your decisions.
I'll respect your comments.Don't mistake me for a mindless robot.
I have my own thoughts and opinions,
I'm just afraid to say them aloud.I might not understand the humor in your jokes.
I might not enjoy being your therapy friend.
I might not agree with all your tastes.
I might not think you're making the best decisions.
I might not respect a comment you've made.Yet, a lot of times, I won't show my disagreement.
I've come so far, worked so hard,
to form this friendship with you.
One misstep, and it all falls apart.
I don't want to say anything wrong,
and ruin what we have.I'll proudly be a people pleaser,
if it means that I get to keep you forever.
