stop waiting for things to happen
you'll spend so much time waiting
for something that might not even occur
while time will just keep on fading
the waiting game is not fun
I can promise you that much
because I waited and waited
and every bad thing begun
the more chances I gave
the worse the situation became
every time I tried to speak up about it
the more you made me feel the shame
until the end I waited
and something good just never came
that's when I realize what we had
was nothing but a dying flame
