You may not be the person I saw first when I opened my eyes, yet I feel I've know you for my whole life.
You know me more than I know myself.You may not have been there when I was learning how to take my first steps, still you taught me lessons and gave me experiences that I'll carry with me forever.
You showed me the greatest form of love.You may not have put a band aid on my scraped knee when I fell off my bike, instead you offered me a shoulder and silence while I cried.
You comforted me during the most painful days.You may not have given me a home to live in or a bed to sleep on, but you've given me something with far more warmth.
You are my home away from home.You are my family.
