~TWENTY-FIVE~

"Hey Johnny you got a light?" I said reaching into my pockets pulling out a pack of cancer sticks.

He nodded grabbing the lighter from him jacket. I handed him a cigarette and he lit both of our cancer sticks. We were still walking though the cold dark night.

We climbed to the top of the monkey bars and sat down.

"After maybe we just head to the Curtis's" I said taking a huff of my cancer stick. He nodded in agreement.

"Oh shucks" Johnny said his voice trembling.

I look at Johnny and see him looking at the road.
I look over to were he was watching to see a blue mustang drive by.

"What are you two doin' out here?" Someone said from behind us.

Johnny and I jumped and looked back quickly to see who was behind us.

"Oh Pony could you quit scarein' us!?" Johnny whisper yelled.

I sighed with relief as I looked back over to the car.

"Maybe they won't see us" I said.

Pony climbed up the bars and sat next to me.
"Give me a puff" he said. I handed him the cigarette. He took a breath then gave it back to me.

The car pulled up in the grass right next to us.
They got out of the car and walked over to us.

"Stay cool" Pony whispered as we jumped down from the monkey bars.

I took along drag on my cigarette.
Four Socs got out of the car. Bob, Randy, Marty, and Lucas. Bob and Randy stumbled over to us either drunk, high, or both.

I felt my back pocket feeling for the switch Josh got me so long ago. Lucky I had it with me.

Once they got close enough Pony said" Why don't y'all just stay on your territory every once an a while" you could hear the sass in his voice.

"Yeah you guys better watch it" Johnny said his voice trembling with fear.

"No pal you better watch it" Randy spat back.

Lucas got close to my face. So close I could tell he wasn't drunk. He was running of a pure hatred and evilness.

"I think it's past your bed time girly" he said.
I took a long drag on my cigarette keeping eye contact the entire time. I blew the smoke right into his face. He didn't even flinch.

"Sometimes I like to be a rebel" I said not leaving his eyes.

He took the cigarette from my hand and placed it into his mouth taking a drag. Instead of blowing the smoke into my face, he broke the eye contact and looked up into the sky blowing the smoke up above my head.

"Must run in the family" he said. Throwing the cancer stick to the ground and stoping on it to put it out.

"One could say that" I said reaching into my back pocket.  I pulled out the switch blade to the side and flipped the blade out, as it made the 'shing' sound metal does when it rubs together.

"It would be a shame if I had to use this" I said inspecting it closely.

He grabbed onto my wrist suddenly making me grunt. His thumb pressed into the middle of my wrist so hard causing me grind my teeth with pain.

"Pony! Johnny! Run!" I yelled to them.

They took off the other way.

"Get 'em" Lucas said. Marty and Randy ran after Johnny and Pony knocking them to the ground.

"I think it's time we teach this grease a lesson" Bob said smirking. I tried pulling away but I couldn't. I kicked Lucas in between the legs and kicked Bob in the nose. They both fell to the ground in pain.

I look around for Pony and Johnny.
I saw all four socs but I couldn't find Johnny. Hopefully he got away and was getting help.
I looked over and saw Pony at the fountain. Marty was holding his head under the water drowning him. I ran to pick up my switch. I picked it up and started to run to the fountain. Someone's leg came in contact with mine tripping me.

I looked and saw Lucas. I kicked him hard in the face before getting back up quickly and running to Pony.

I ripped at Marty's back and shoulders in attempt to pull him away from Pony but he was too strong.

Pony was starting to actually drown because he stopped fighting, as if he was accepting his fate. I looked behind me and saw Lucas and Bob getting us and going towards me.

With out thinking, I take my switchblade and stab Marty multiple times in the back and in the neck. He finally let go of Pony and fell to the ground. I threw my blade to the side and pulled Pony out of the fountain by his shirt. I layed him on the ground repeatedly tapping his cheek trying to wake him up.

I look at my hands and clothes. I'm covered with blood. I look over to my left and see Marty on the ground dead. Lucas hovered over him, crying begging for him to wake up. I crawled over to him tears running down my face.

It finally hit me.

I just killed someone.
