~TWENTY-SEVEN~

I woke up.

Blue and red lights flashed around me. I could tell I was in a ambulance.

"Oh thank goodness your awake" Soda said with relief as he layed his head down onto my lap.

Dally came up to me. "Hey you'll be alright" he said. Tears filled his eyes. I rarely see Dallas cry. Seeing him like this made tears fill my eyes. I had a clear mask over my nose and mouth helping me breath. I looked down at Sods crying in my lap.

I reached down with my left hand and ran my fingers through his hair. He looked up at me and grabbed my hand. He kissed it softly before I fell back asleep again.

I woke up.
"Hello Delaney. I'm your nurse Sarah." I sat up and looked around confused.

"It's okay" she said pushing me back down onto the bed. "You have some people who want to see you. Can I let them in?" I nodded knowing it was the gang.

I layed my head back down onto the bed.

I could hear the gang come through the doors. I opened my eyes.

Soda, Dally, and Pony were all crying. Happy tears I hope.

"Oh Delaney. I'm so happy your awake." Soda said. He kissed my lips softly. I smiled.

"Oh Dallas stop bein a ball baby and come here" i said laughing slightly even though it hurt.

He sat on my bed and hugged me tighter that he ever had before.

"You know I thought I lost you. The doctors said you might not have lived" he said balling his eyes out on my shoulder.

He pulled away and wiped his face from his tears.

"It's ok Dallas you can't get rid of me that quick." I said with a smile.

"I'm so happy you came to Tulsa. If you didn't who knows where I'd be right now. I know I've been a shitty brother lately but I just want you to know I love you so much Delaney. I could ask for a better sister." He said. I single tear slipped down my cheek.

"Dallas I don't think you've ever said that to me before" I said standing up. "I love you too" i smiled as more tears fell. He came to me and hugged me. He kissed the top of my head.

Eventually the hug turned into a giant group hug. Most of the gang was crying happy tears.

"I couldn't as for a better family" I said.
