"Haven... we're going to need you to get the old Namjoon out..." I was confused, I loved the old Namjoon and this Namjoon, what was wrong with him?
"Old Namjoon, he's always been this way with me..." Jungkook brows furrowed.
"Dad was right, I should have stopped treating you like a sister the second you came back..." Namjoon shook his head, disagreeing with Jungkook.
"Break the connection with him." Taehyung suggested, Namjoon rolled his, sitting next to on our bed.
"She can't do that; they are a good team it will mess up their work routine." Changkyun interjected. "He won't be fucking her after we marry, but he has time to get her out of his system." I scowled glaring at my now fiancé.
"If you honestly think that us being legally together is going to stop me from continuing to build something with him you have lost your mind." Namjoon was the one who stayed silent this time.
"Haven, you and I both know you are going to try in our relationship, eventually you will see I have pure intentions towards you and our relationship." Changkyun could never lie to me, I knew he was being honest, but I didn't care.
"Earn her love back, the right way." Yoongi almost demanded; I missed him.
"Namjoon needs to be cut off gently from what you gave him is something he's never experienced, so don't end things harshly with him, when he's ready for closure I will give him that. I am serious Haven you and him are partners. It's important to keep balance, I feel better knowing he's your partner than Zuho." Changkyun was only thinking about my safety now.
"I think you should stop telling Namjoon what he needs, you don't know anything about him." I was irritated, let Namjoon speak for himself.
"Watching the both of you work together, gave me an outside view of how well you move together, the only time Haven was injured happened when Namjoon had to separate from her, Haven's injury was minimal. I like him, I know he will always take care of her no matter the situation, I respect that." Changkyun seemed so at peace with his resolve, had he been in a similar position as Namjoon and me?
"I.M you don't really have any say over Namjoon, we all know who he listens to." Yoongi wasn't disagreeing with Changkyun, but Namjoon had always made it clear who he stood by.
"I am aware of that, but that doesn't change the fact that I do understand his side of our current situation." Changkyun kept his composure, while Yoongi continued to judge his character.
"So, you've went through something like what they have?" Jungkook, was only looking for a way to break the connection we had built.
"Yes, when I met Haven, she wasn't like anyone I had been around, creative, free spirited, expensive taste. I knew she came from a wealthy family, but I didn't know she came from the same life I had." Changkyun chuckled, reminiscent of who I used to be, who we used to be. "That was until I caught her, I didn't feel the need to investigate her, but my partner did. "I was disappointed that I was caught, I had promised my family to keep a low profile while I was away from home.
"Haven was painting in her art studio, one of the locals had come in to ask for classes. I believe his name was Nathan, your sweater had slid off your shoulder. I watched from the window across the street, now again I knew you came from money, I didn't know what kind of money until that day. Nathans action made that vision I had of you change, but it only made me love you more. You seemed to already read the situation Nathan was there for. When he came onto you, I was going to intervene, when he wouldn't take no for an answer. Nathan had broken the glass that held your water for your paint brushes from being too forceful. Her eyes watched the glass fall, I was impressed by her reflexes." Changkyun smirked. "She pulled a leather glove out of her coat pocket, pushing her fingers through, catching the piece of the glass Nathan had just broken, slamming him against the wall. Haven wanted to make it clear that she wasn't interested, positioning the tip of glass under his chin. I was ready to marry her at that moment." Namjoon shook his head, annoyed that Changkyun still felt the need to marry me even back then. Jungkook seemed intrigued, I knew his questions were coming.
