Chapter 3

The job was supposed to be simple, Zuho slipped my knife in my leather strap latched around my thigh. I loaded my gun while he slid down my dress.

"Try not to attack, you have to control your instinct to protect your family." I eyed him, he's been studying me.

"You've been watching me?" I mused.

"Well, I knew I was going to be your partner for a while, so I wanted to know how you moved." I handed him his jacket while he spoke.

"I see. Well, this should be a smooth job then if you've done your homework correctly." He grinned, placing his hand on my stomach. My back hit the door, his eyes went from my mine to my lips, my waist, back to my neck.

"I just went through a breakup. You are single. I don't see why we can be partners in healing each other as well." I raised my brow, now this was something I could do. He was my type, he wanted fun, casual dates, and just sex.

"If it doesn't work." I grinned.

"Then we got what we both needed out of this Jay will get attached if you touch him again." He stepped closer towards me. "The difference is, I won't act on it. unless you want me too."

"Okay, Zuho, I'm in.." he chuckled.

"Haven. you can call me by my name. If we are going to fuck, I would rather hear you say my name. Then my professional name." I bit my lip; this man was my type.

"What's your name?" I ran my fingers down his chest. He took my hand kissing the palm of my hand.

"Juho..." I pressed my lips watching him.

"Juho..." I whispered, he smirked.

"Let's get this job finished so we can talk a little more." He squeezed my hand, opening the door.

Zuho walked in ahead of my brother giving him the signal. He held his arm out for me to hold onto him. We were meant to look like a couple. I seen Jay his eyes were already studying Zuho. He leaned down whispering in my ear.

"You always make the room stop. You have no idea how much power you hold." He whispered, I blushed.

When we walked over to the booth that was reserved for him and me, I seen my favorite bourbon. He winked guiding me to my seat. We had already been drinking from the lounge. More alcohol, I was going to be hung over.

He sat next to me when the server came to refresh our ice. She was looking at Zuho, I didn't blame her, he was distracting. He leaned back, sliding his hand on my thigh, I sipped my bourbon, watching the room. He was silently telling this woman he was not interested. I knew this was a job, and I should not have been attracted to this, but I was. When she walked away, he didn't move his hand. He watched the room with me. I seen Namjoon walk by that was the next signal.

"Zuho, go with Jin and Taehyung. it's time for the next phase." He nodded, standing up. I walked behind Namjoon, I knew how he and I looked, it's how we always looked, like a couple. He never perused me when I was younger why would he now? I already dismissed those ideals, he knew that.

"Haven, my father knows about you and I.M he's spoken to Mr. Jeon." I stopped walking. He turned around, stepping closer towards me.

"Mr. Jeon wants to set you up with one his nephews. Council thought Jungkook would be a good match for you, but my father said you two were to much like siblings." He played with my hair, watching the room.

"Jay was brought up, but I just watched you with him. You hesitated to many times with him." I looked away.

"He's not your type...I get it, you needed something opposite of what you had.
