Namjoon
It seemed Changkyun was serious about his divorce with Haven. I had to give him credit. He loved their son constantly keeping in touch with him. I had taken Dae to the main office, Dae heard his father on the phone talking to Shownu, Dae climbed on Shownu's lap, taking his phone away. I found myself smiling, Dae constantly reminded me of his mother.
"Daddy." Dae pouted, holding back his tears, another trait he's picked up from his mother.
"Yes, son?" Changkyun smiled, delight filling his eyes staring at his son.
"I haven't seen mommy in a week, Uncle Namjoon told me that she lost something, and she is healing." Daes tears fell down his rosy cheeks, the kid was too young to understand, to know what his mother sacrificed, he knew his mother was strong, but he didn't understand how strong she was.
"Son, what did she lose?" Changkyun leaned in, watching my expression, I crossed my arms not giving him anything to read from, he should have never left, he should have been there...he didn't deserve to know, not now at least. I had my own feelings towards him about this situation, and I needed time to figure out how to communicate with him without killing him.
"Uncle Namjoon didn't tell me, Mommy was protecting me when she was hit in her tummy. I want my mommy, I want her home, I miss her daddy... "Dae continued to sob, Shownu looked up at my frownin, hugging his nephew.
"I miss your mom too kid." Changkyun voice broke, realization coming through that it was his child he lost, he didn't know how, I knew he would ask for more information later, but not now he couldn't hide his grief, he was upset that his family went through that. I was upset that he was the reason it happened, to see her face of defeat to choose between her son, and her child in her womb. I would never forgive him, he abandoned them.
I picked Dae up, holding him in my arms, I needed Changkyun to see that his son had another male figure in his life, I needed him to hurt, I needed him to suffer so Haven could heal. Dae snuggled into my arms, as I wiped his tears.
"You smell like mommy." Dae clung to my shirt taking in Havens perfume.
"Your mother smells expensive." Shownu and I both chuckled, as Dae snickered with us.
"Is mommy coming home soon?" Dae looked at me gently, waiting for my answer.
"You cry just like your mother Dae." I grinned, holding onto him tightly, comforting him.
"Is Haven coming home soon Namjoon?" I watched Changkyun's worry destroy his cold exterior towards Haven.
"Soon..." I kept my answer short; he did not deserve my time.
"Daddy you've been gone for..." Dae showed Changkyun three tiny fingers. "These many months." I kept my composure, clenching my jaw.
"I know, I'm sorry son, I am trying to get back to you." I could hear the sincerity in Changkyun's voice, but Dae didn't like his answer, hanging up on his father.
"Your mothers' eyes and attitude it seems." I chuckled, staring at Dae's satisfaction chuckled, Shownu chuckled along with me, in agreeance.
