Zuri was four months old, she had everyone wrapped around her finger, I received the call, it was time to fly out to Italy. Joy and Tae took the kids while we went to our job, Namjoon went ahead of me. I knew I had to get in shape after Zuri was born, so I stayed on top of my work out routine before the was born. The transition to working out after she was born was a lot easier, it took three months, but I managed to get back to my body shape before her. My family was already in Italy, Changkyun sent me weapons that were disguised as pearls, I was supposed to be the last to arrive.
When I arrived, I could see my family blending in, I checked my hair and makeup. I unbuttoned my black blazer, exposing my lace corset, my black high waisted pants, hugging my curves just right. I could hear the chatter around me. I slid my hands on my pockets, my heels hitting the expensive marble floor. My eyes scanned the room. I needed the leader, Dohwan was the key to get me to my father.
Dohwan was surrounded with protection, I smiled recalling the time I was once the one on the other side with him. I realized what my pearls were for, Jenna and Karly walked beside me as we walked up the stairs. I didn't say anything, Karly sweet talked our way in. Jenna handed us glasses of champagne. I spotted Changkyun, he looked good in his suit. "Mr. and Mrs. IM" Dohwan mused. Changkyun walked towards me, sliding his hand on the small of my back.
"Date night..." Changkyun smiled kissing my cheek.
"Dohwan, it's been a long time. How's the art gallery doing?" Dohwan smiled warmly, kissing my hand, his kiss said gentleman, but his eyes were calling me, "Princess" Changkyuns eyes widened, I was wearing my engagement ring.
"It's great, you should stop by before you leave, Princess." I giggled; I couldn't believe the boldness this man still had towards me. Jungkook gave us the signal, I needed to distract him a little more.
"Dohwan..." I kept my tone soft, but firm.
"Princess..." Dohwan was reading my eyes, he still wanted to submit to me, after all we've been through and years apart.I walked away from Changkyun, guiding Dohwan into the room Jungkook marked. I heard Jimin and Jay pull the fire alarm, we were trying to save lives. Namjoon and Jin already found all the members of the Dohwan's group. They had no option but to stay still. I sat Dohwan down, leaving him alone in a room with my father. Shutting the door, walking towards Jungkook, Kook gave me my bag of clothes to change into. Yoongi was guarding the door that Karly and Jenna were changing in. When I walked in, there was this silence that we all understood. This was it; this was the last fight we would have to go through for a while. We didn't waste any time goofing off. The three of us changed our clothes, following the plan that was set. We divided into threes, Jenna went with the IMs, Karly went with Jungkook, Jay, Jin, and Yoongi. Namjoon was to stay where he was with Jimin. That left me and Changkyun. I felt uncomfortable with everyone scattered, no one was fighting yet, they were waiting for a signal. My father wasn't signaling, neither was Dohwan. Namjoon and Jimin were busy intimidating Dohwans members. Dohwans brother decided he didn't want to wait. He casually walked towards Joohoney. I tensed watching their interaction. I took off the necklace Changkyun had given me, sliding it into my pocket. Pulling one of the pearls off the chain. Joohoney was struggling not to fight the Dohwans brother. It was when I seen the knife, he ran against Joohoney shirt. Joohoney snapped pushing him away from him. I looked over at Namjoon and Jimin, they still had things under control. Changkyun walked over towards Shownu, chaos was slowly building up. I casually walked in front of Dohwans brother. Pushing him over the balcony, I didn't mind sparing Dohwans life, but his brother I could care less. I flipped my hair rolling the pear on the stairway, Changkyun motioned for our team to take cover. Dohwan knew he was outnumbered, he wasn't trying to fight, his brother ruined that. Changkyun pulled me to the side as the pearl set off an explosion.
"It would be nice if you could stop distracting me." Changkyun smirked, as his nose brushed his nose against my neck.
"It's not my fault you are attracted to sassy women." Changkyun chuckled.
"You are the only woman I find attractive with that attitude." I blushed, Changkyun had been keeping his distance from me. He wanted to give Namjoon time to bond with the baby, to get a family experience in with his own child. When the smoke cleared, the fighting began, I sighed. Changkyun pulled me closer towards him, hugging me tight before letting me go.
"I'm not doing this..." I walked away from the fighting, Changkyun followed me. I heard my father raise his voice as I opened the door. Dohwan had a gun pointed at my father. I scowled; this was getting out of hand.
"Enough!" I felt myself snap, Dohwan and my father both looked at me like I was crazy.
"Dohwan put the gun down, just listen to the offer. It's going to benefit you a lot more than you losing men." Dohwan handed me his gun, giving me that same sexy look he gave me in Dubai.
"Say what you have to say." Changkyun did not like Dohwan this close to me, I was relieved Namjoon wasn't in here with us, I could only control so much.
"We can change the cycle, work together. I don't care if it's in the traditional way, where you or someone in your family marry someone in our family. We could do this from a contractual business standpoint. Changkyun and his family are very good at that." Dohwan sat back down listening, my father was silent, he was too old for this life. It was why he was marrying Jungkook off, so he could take over.
"I have two beautiful children, I cannot keep fighting like this, I would like to be a mother. I would like to give them the chance of a normal life, how can any of us give our families a normal life if we are always at war? I am not saying we stop our lifestyle, but we can find other ways other than violence to get the job done." Dohwan looked over at my father, then back at me.
"She's divorced right?" my father chuckled, shaking his head.
"She is still married...she is my wife." Changkyun clenched his jaw.
"That's a shame." Dohwan shook his head, I grew impatient, walking towards Dohwan, leading him to the balcony.
"Call them off, we can work this out. I will call my family off." I rested my arms against the banister. I seen Namjoon tiring out, he needed me, I needed to be there to help him.
"Princess, it's a shame we didn't work out, we could have changed the world. If I do this, you must do one thing for me." I looked at him impatiently, I needed to be there for Namjoon.
"Dohwan, we can still change the world together, we just would do it as friends What do you need from me?" I leaned over the banister, ready to jump down to help.
"You take over, instead of Jungkook, we can accomplish a lot together. "I was surprised by his answer. I held out my hand for him to shake in agreement. Dohwan kissed the palm of my hand instead, Namjoon was already halfway up the stairs, watching our conversation, Changkyun placed his over my wrist, pulling me away from Dohwan.
"Call your members off." Changkyun voice was stern, dominant, and irritated. Dohwan called them off with one wave of his hand, silence took over the destroyed gallery, the fighting stopped. I sighed in relief, still slightly worried about all the power Dohwan had, but he still found subtle ways to submit to me, if I could keep that submission, his power was mine. It was a power I didn't want, but in this moment we needed it.
