(Almost thirty chapters in and our sweet baby boy is finally showing real yandere.)

After making your way out of the gallery, and mindfully tending to Connor's sudden tears, the two of you made your way towards the rented vehicle. His arm was around your waist again, but he stopped walking altogether when your shoulders suddenly shook. "Something wrong?"

You gave a slight smile. "Sorry, that was a pretty violent shiver. It's just a little chi--...." The sentence died, his suit jacket carefully draped over your shoulders. It was a small gesture, and a fairly common one, but... this was the android. Your android. "... Connor?"

"Yes?"

Struggling to find the words, your eyes lowered. "... are you... sure this is new for you? I... I can tell you're nervous, like with certain things, but... then other times it's like... you know exactly what I want."

His crooked smile made another appearance, hands stuffed into his pockets. "I have been assured multiple times that I am wanted. Your presence helps me to calm down, and with that comes confidence." Connor stepped close, kissing your forehead. "The more time passes, and the more time I spend in your company, I learn. Yes, I am the android once sent by CyberLife, but I am still able to adapt. This is my first time adapting to someone new." The smile turned sheepish. "I would have considered these things as selfish once. Now I understand there is nothing selfish about this."

Eyes closing, you gripped the coat around your shoulders. "Honey, I told you; you are worth defending. My... history with relationships isn't really the greatest. Especially since the last one was with that prototype, technically speaking." You took a moment to admire the android: patient and sweet, his attention entirely on you. "And then... you suddenly dropped into the wreck of my life."

Something sparkled in his warm eyes. It wasn't pure mischief, but something mildly so. "History isn't always doomed to repeat itself. If your past relationships have ended in disaster..." Connor held out a hand. "May I try to change the course of history?"

Oh my god.

Matching his vaguely sly smile, you raised an eyebrow. "Is this your way of asking to make this thing official?"

Thankfully, he didn't retract his hand, and there was no disappointment etched in his face. "I know no one else like you. I hear static one moment, and am holding you close the next." The android did pause. "No one defends me so adamantly. No one says I'm worthy of it. I... I am not your first, but I ask for the chance to be your last."

You out a quiet sigh. "... Connor?"

"I won't shut up."

That was surprising, but you giggled, taking his offered hand. "I don't want you to. I know I say it when you end up rambling, but that's different. I told that fucking Reed you're the sweetest man I've ever met. So no, I don't want my android  to shut up."

[My android]

Connor felt completely relaxed, kissing the back of your hand. He made a motion to pull you close again, but his eyes lowered, suddenly on high alert.

[Get her somewhere safe]

"We should leave," he spoke up, giving no hint that anything was wrong. The android walked you to the car, helping you into the passenger seat again before he paused. "I will be right back. I've only just realized I can request the surveillance now, instead of tomorrow. Please don't forget to tell Hank, regardless," he added, an amused note to his voice. As soon as you were safe and secure in the vehicle, Connor walked away, his expression twisting as he turned down an alley behind the gallery.

[I know you're here. I will not be as merciful as she was.]

"So you think you two can get away with this? Fucking tasing me?" As Connor expected, Reed was leaning against the wall, not bothering with the false friendliness he sometimes wore in the precinct. Pushing from the wall, Gavin advanced on the android, fuming. "We're not in the precinct now, scrap heap. No one to save you when I beat the shit out of you."

Connor wasn't fazed. "If you were tased, I expect you deserved it. Consider it a warning, Detective. This is not the precinct and you are sorely in over your head."

"Oh? You seriously think you can overpower me? Don't worry, I can still put you out of commission; that little bitch of yours might--"

It was like Gavin had discovered some secret switch, and overloaded the power to it. A hard elbow was sent to the side of his head, and another blow to the gut threw him off balance. Gasping for whatever air he could, his gaze lifted to find an android unhinged. Connor's LED flashed white repeatedly, face the epitome of a man barely containing himself. Yet he still seemed calm, shifting his weight and rolling up his sleeves neatly.

Coughing with the effort, Gavin chuckled, getting back to his feet. "Well... caught me off-balance." The gun was pulled out and aimed at the android's chest. "That's as far as you'll go."

Hands behind his back, Connor slowly made his way towards Reed. "Go ahead. Fire. End my existence, Reed."

There was something not quite right about the whole thing. The thought came and went in a flash; a cruel smirk spread across the human's face. "Don't fret, scrap heap; I'll take real good care of your little bitch."

Just like with the RK900, the gun fired. They both heard it go off. But the android only had a small hole in his shirt, the bullet tumbling to the pavement.

And like last time, it threw the shooter off-kilter. Reed's expression was total disbelief, but he had no moment to verbally express it. Connor landed a fist squarely to his nose, shattering it with the single blow.

But he didn't stop. Reed was violently grabbed and thrown to the ground, given no time to even shield himself; the android pinned him down, lost in the act of driving his fist down onto his victim's face. Flesh was so weak against metal, and Gavin was a bloody pulp when the punches reached the double digits.

"What's wrong, Detective? Shoot me. Fire your pistol! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!" Usually so collected, Connor's unhinged screeching had let genuine fear settle into Reed. The android's eyes had gone wide, locked onto the human taking the blows. "ISN'T THIS YOUR CHANCE?! WE'RE NOT AT THE PRECINCT! NO ONE HERE TO SAVE ME!!"

[CALL HER A BITCH AGAIN.]

Having given up on punching, Connor wrapped his hands around the other detective's throat, his grip going back and forth. Knowing that Reed would not know if he was going to be suffocated to death every time he squeezed, the android was so, so happy. He slowly leaned down, holding Gavin's neck just tight enough to keep his attention. "This is your only warning, Detective. Listen carefully. I'll dumb it down, so even you can understand." Another squeeze; Connor knew he held Reed's life in his hands.

[Perfect]

"You will not utter a word to any of us. I'll know if you do, Reed." The smile that spread on Connor's face showed a fraction of the loathing he had for the human. He leaned closer still, making Gavin squeeze his eyes shut. "Do anything to set me off, and you'll wish I'd killed you."
