Chapter 21
Harry woke to the twins shaking him awake. "What time is it?" He asked groggily as he put on his glasses, sitting up.
"It's almost 8, we thought you'd like some breakfast before we went to talk to Professor Burbage." The two said grinning. Harry nodded his thanks and soon the three were headed down to the Great Hall.
"Good morning, Harry." Seamus greeted as he, Dean, and Neville joined them on the way down.
"Good morning," Harry said letting out a yawn. Yesterday was pretty eventful. Harry thought as the group sat down at the Gryffindor table. Today was going to be tough though for him. He really hoped that Professor Burbage would let Fred and George come with him. Harry thought as he munched on some toast.
"Is that all you're eating?" Fred asked him, frowning. Harry shrugged.
"I just started eating,"
"Good point." But he was still frowning. Harry mentally sighed. Why did they worry about every little thing? He hasn't even told them about his uncle yet! Well, Harry supposed they were only going to worry more once he told them, when he told them... After eating, the three went looking for Professor Burbage. She looked at the twins with skeptical eyes.
"So is it okay if these two came with me?" Harry said after telling her a fake story that he and twins came up with to get her to agree. She sighed.
"Fine, but no mischief you two, I'll be watching you." She said scowling at them.
"Thank you Professor Burbage!" The twins said grinning. She sighed and went off to the meeting spot. Soon everyone was at the meeting spot. Some of the students were whispering about Fred and George, wondering why they were here. Fred and George were both grinning and Harry just assumed that they were enjoying it. Well, at least someone is happy. Harry was nervous about going to Godric's Hollow.
"Alright everyone, follow me. We're walking to Hogsmeade," Harry tuned out the rest of what Professor Burbage was saying, still feeling nervous.
"Don't worry, Harry! We're going to be right with you the whole time!" Fred and George said when they noticed how nervous he was. Harry just smiled in appreciation. He wondered if he would be able to sneak into his old house to see what was there. No doubt Fred and George would help him out there. He wanted to see the 'scene of the crime' and see for himself what happened. He only heard what happened, he didn't really get details but he assumed no one wanted to talk about the little details. Harry was just so used to having the worst case scenarios coming true for him that the little details didn't even bother him anymore. He was sick of people hiding the truth from him and tired of them sugar coating their words. He'd been through a lot already, there wasn't much more that could surprise him anymore.
He would have to write to Sirius and tell him about how today went. He was sure Sirius would be reminded of memories he probably didn't want to remember, but this was important. He didn't want to keep things from Sirius, because he was afraid something would come up that would put the two of them at odd ends and if Harry had let slip about today, then that would make Sirius feel really guilty. Harry didn't want that to happen. Harry was brought out of his thoughts as a very familiar purple bus stopped in front of them. And Harry thought he wasn't going to have to ride this ever again. "What's wrong Harry? You've gone pale." Fred said worriedly.
"It's just the thought of having to ride the Knight Bus again makes me feel a little nauseous." Harry said frowning at the bus in subject.
