Chapter 13

At five, Harry met up with Draco at the entrance to the dungeons. "So where is this place you were talking about?" Draco asked curiously.

"On the seventh floor." Draco's eyes went wide.

"Are you serious? If I go up there, there's no telling what those Gryffindorks are going to do!" Harry raised an eyebrow at him.

"Gryffindorks, really Draco?" Draco blushed a bit. "I won't let anything happen to you. Apparently I'm the best in our year at DATDA." Draco stuck his tongue out at Harry and Harry thought he'd never see that come from the Pureblooded Slytherin. "Besides, no one will think twice of doing anything to you because I'm also told I'm quite scary when I'm angry." Draco chuckled.

"Alright, Harry, I believe you."

"Good!" Harry said grinning as the two started up the stairs.

"How do you walk up these stairs all the time?" Draco complained when they made it to the fifth floor. Harry rolled his eyes good naturedly, grinning.

"Used to it I suppose. " Draco stuck his tongue out at him once again. Gryffindors and Ravenclaws alike gave them weird looks as they ascended the last two floors, but Harry wasn't going to let that bother him. He wished he could say the same about Draco. Draco was getting nervous. So Harry stuck by him the rest of the way and sent glares at anyone who made a move to try something or anything. He didn't like that they reacted the way they are to a Slytherin getting closer to the Gryffindor and Ravenclaw common rooms. It's not like he's trying to trick anyone into getting the password.

"Are we there yet?" Draco asked almost whining as we passed the Fat Lady (Harry saw Draco eyeing the Gryffindors coming out of the portrait hole). Harry chuckled.

"Not quite, but the good news is you don't have to climb anymore stairs."

"Oh shut up." Harry grinned as he led him to the corridor with the painting of trolls learning how to do ballet. "That's a weird painting."

"There are a lot of those around here." Harry said shaking his head as he started pacing the opposite wall.

"What are you doing?"

"If you'll be quiet, you'll find out." Harry said cheekily. Draco rolled his eyes. Finally the door to the RoR appeared and Draco's mouth dropped open. Harry chuckled and dragged his friend in quickly. He knew Fred and George would hear about the two of them walking up here from the students walking down the stairs and such. So he had to be quick and smart on how he summoned the door.

"What is this place?" Draco asked wide-eyed.

"This, Draco, is the Room of Requirements. It appears when you pace the wall three times thinking of what kind of room you want. Only the twins know about it as far as I know." Harry wondered if his Dad, Sirius, and Remus knew about it in school. Probably as they are the Marauders. It's not on the map, though. Harry wondered why but he'd have time to figure it out later.

"Those kids all saw us coming up here, the twins are bound to find out."

"That's why I was careful on how I wanted the room. Fred and George shouldn't be able to get in until we're done talking."

"This might be a good place to do that defense group."

"I thought that too, but I'm sure Snape and Lupin will shoot the idea down because of security reasons. I'm sure if someone studied where the door will appear when you go in enough, they'd know exactly where it's at and blast their way in."

"So what's your solution?"

"Hm... well I was thinking the Chambers of Secrets."

"You've got to be kidding me? Harry, that place is dangerous!"
