Together in Forge of Spirit

We stand in the midst of refining fire,

so come, let us set our face like flint;

build with me foundation deep,

anchor with me in beating storm,

be one with me through great travail.

I will stay with you,

I will pray with you,

I will remain with you,

I will stand on promises with you.

You may stumble. I may stumble.

We help each other to our feet,

continue the journey to our source,

eternity's great venture,

the destiny of you and I.

My covenant is with you.

My bond is with you.

There is only One over you,

the One that unites us,

the great Creator that knit us together.

I will be with you.

I will seek with you.

I will witness with you

promises fulfilled before us,

because of how good the Creator is,

and we continue to choose his side.

Fear not —

we will be molded;

we will be renewed in process,

we will be forged,

we will emerge,

be strong and courageous,

we will be a catalyst for new world dawning,

we will see with eyes of fire.
