The Poetry We Make

I may not write everyday,

but my poetry to you is alive and well,

no, not in the sentences I craft

or in the words I spell,

but in every moment —

you're my moving picture

worth more than a thousand words,

each and every passing second.

You write poems with me everyday,

you're writing a story with me always;

we are living paper and ink

venturing beyond bounds

of what most imagine or think —

we do write everyday,

crafting stories in our

creative loving way.
