I'm writing to you my love
from across an ocean between us,
that when the sun rises
on you first
you'll be greeted by these words,
by these vessels that carry
my love-soaked heart
stirred with feeling
as a saturating mist,
lingering,
a soft presence provoking
the longing,
the missing you,
but I'm not far behind.
I'll see you so soon.
