Faster Than Life (MHA X Flash)

Prologue: Setting the Stage.

Fire was spreading through-out the building as people inside were screaming for help. "Don't you love watching stuff burn." Mick Rory, or the villain known as Heatwave called out as he used his handheld flamethrower to set more fire to the apartment building.

"Mick! That wasn't part of the plan." Leonard Snart, or Captain Cold responds as he freezes some of the cop car's wheels with his cold gun making them crash.

"We needed some kind of distraction to keep the cops and heroes off our backs as we escape. I provided it."

"To think you guys would try this in my own city." The two villains turn fast as they see Flash leaning against a wall drinking a slushie. The both of them activate their guns and start shooting at the Flash as he runs around dodging.

"Damn it. Of course the number 1 hero had to get here. I thought you said he was supposed to be in Star City today, Snart?" Heatwaves says as he continues trying to hit Barry.

"Oh I was in Star City earlier. I just finished up fast. You know, that's kinda my thing." Barry says as he grabs Heatwave and puts handcuffs on him. Snart shoots a beam of ice at Barry but he's not able to completely dodge it as some of it hits his chest and he's forced to move back and use a car for cover.

Snart calls out to Flash. "Flash, shouldn't you be saving the people from the burning building. You can't stop us and get them at the same time." Barry laughs before speeding behind Snart and handcuffing him.

"First off all, I could do both, and second I don't have too." The three look towards the building and see all of the citizens inside saved and a yellow streak of lightning putting out the fire.

"Light work! Come on guys. You have to step up your game if you're going against us." Wally says after appearing in front of them smiling. Five years have passed since Wally has gotten his powers. And for four of them he's been the Pro Hero Kid Flash. Or semi pro with his provisional license.

"Nice work Kid Flash." Barry says as he rubs Wally's hair and Wally speeds a couple feet away.

"Stop rubbing my head, and I hate that name. Kid Flash. I'm not just your sidekick." Suddenly they hear a crowd of people all around them asking for autographs and a bunch of cute girls surround Wally begging for Kid Flash to kiss them.

"You know on second thought, maybe I'm ok with it." Barry rolls his eyes at his partner's antics before they get an alert for another crime. He nods at Wally and Wally looks at him a little disappointed at first for not letting him stay with the girls but the two speed of heading to the next crime.

Wally Pov

To think how much different my life could be after four years. I've got to say being a hero is pretty cool. David and Barry ran tests on me and figured out that since I was quirkless my body was able to adapt to the lightning after I got struck and it ended up changing me and basically giving me the same quirk as Barry. But I think it's a little more than that. Since that dream I've had multiple more times where if I meditate or sleep I can connect with the speedforce again. Barry still can't and isn't fully convinced I'm telling the truth.

It's almost like it wanted me to be a hero with Barry. For us to use our powers for good. Things have been good though. There was a bit of a learning curve when I started using my powers but I've got the hang of them now. My speed is quite a bit lower than Barry but he said I'm improving faster then he did at my age. Another thing that I think might be because of my unique connection to the speedforce is that I'm able to completely manipulate my lightning. I can shoot it out easier, make things out of it, control it. Barry seems a little jealous but I guess I'm just that guy.

After finishing up our patrol for the day we took a plane to head back to I-Island. Apparently David needed to talk to Barry about something important. I don't really mind. I-Island has kind of become like a second home for us now. David designs all of Barry's suits and handles his repairs and upgrades. He does mind usually but lately I've been having his daughter Melissa do it instead. She's a couple months younger than me and very smart. David said she'll be way better than even himself at designing support items when she gets older. But honestly I just go to her because I like bothering her while she works.
