Episode 7: Everything and then some...

“You won’t beat me with half your power. In fact. You don't stand a chance.” Deku says as the two stand in front of each other. Todoroki seethes with anger. “Did my old man put you up to this? I'll show everyone what my power can do.

“START!”

Todoroki shoots the largest ice wave he's used all festival without wasting time. A huge glacier charging forward at Izuku. Izuku flicks both his middle fingers forward, obliterating it.

The shock wave erupts throughout the entire stadium. But before Todoroki can even react, Izuku is already there in his face. Backhanded him with 10% of OFA, sending him flying.

Todoroki catches himself with ice only to get kicked in his side and sent flying again. Deku continues to send him flying back and forth throughout the ring. Todoroki is only fast enough to barely save himself from ringing out.

Present Mic jumps out of his seat as his voice booms over the intercom. “WHO WOULD HAVE EXPECTED THIS? MIDORIYA IS COMPLETELY BULLYING ONE OF THE STRONGEST COMPETITORS HERE!”

“Yes. But he's not trying to win. It seems he's trying to prove a point.” Aizawa's monotone voice interjects.

Class 1A can only watch in complete shock.

“I knew Midoriya was strong. But this…

Kirishima's voice trails off as they all watch. Uraraka, after rejoining the group, can't help but smile to herself. Knowing Deku has something planned. But having complete confidence that he'll pull off everything he's trying to.

But the most shocked reaction of them all. Is Bakugo. For once, feeling something he never thought the shitty nerd could do to him. Something he used to make him feel every day. Fear. Fear and lesser than.

Izuku sends an even stronger punch into Todoroki's gut, sending him tumbling to the edge of the arena.

“Folks, this could be the end of the match. Todoroki doesn't seem to be able to catch himself this time.”

As everyone watches intensely the stadium suddenly becomes completely quiet. Wally shakes his head but can't help but chuckle.

Todoroki finally regains his bearings and looks to see Izuku holding him by the collar of his shirt, stopping him from falling out.

“W-Why?” Izuku smirks and lowers full cowling to 5%. “Because we aren't done yet.” He throws Todoroki back into the center of the ring.

“Do you understand the difference between us? It's not that I just happen to be stronger. It's that I'm giving this my all. Not just this festival. But trying to become a hero.”

Todoroki slowly gets up. His rage overtaking him. “ So what? You want to embarrass me? TRY AND GET ME TO GIVE UP?” Todoroki uses all the power he can muster. More than he's ever used before, creating a blast of ice too big for Izuku to dodge or break.

Assuming he would use a finger to do so.

“SMASH!” Wind rushes through the entire arena almost sending people flying out of their seats. Izuku stands there. His right arm broken from using 100 percent. “All of that. But you still haven't even scratched me yet. All the damage I've taken so far. Has been a choice.”

Todoroki stumbles back a few feet as Izuku slowly walks forward.

“I-I Can't. I refuse to use his power-

“It's your quirk. Not his. Your power, Todoroki. What do you plan to do with it?”

Todoroki's mind suddenly flashes to his mom. The memory of her telling him. That it doesn't matter who his family is. That it is ok, for him to become a hero.
