Episode 12: Clash of Ideals

No Pov:

"Well than Deku. Let's see whose ideals are stronger."

Izuku and Stain both charge forward at each. Izuku's thoughts racing.

'Long range attacks, and a reach advantage from his sword. So I'll take all that away.'

He rolls under the Hero Killer who then swings back around with his sword only to see nothing.

'He vanished. No above.'

"SMASH!"

Deku swings his fist down but the Hero Killer jumps back to create space. As Deku lands the Hero Killer begins to throw Kunai toward him, but Danger Sense flares and Deku begins to dodge for the first few. Before doing a flip over one, grabbing it, and throwing back at full force.

Stain just smiles as he deflects it with his blade and catches it in his other hand.

"Strong ideals, a capable fighter. You are really exciting me Deku."

Izuku begins bouncing off the walls preparing his next strike.

'Like Wally taught me. Like Gran Torino, he won't be able to predict where I'm coming. So now. I'll strike!'

Deku launches in only for the Hero Killer to smirk and slices his arm with his Kunai. Deku jumps back preparing his next engagement but Stain chuckles and licks his blade. And Deku falls to the floor unable to move.

"Damn it. He got me. A parlazying quirk."

"Sorry Kid, but you were strong enough to force me to have to try a bit. But I would never kill you. You are going to be a great hero one day. These two on the other hand."

Izuku tries desperately to move as Stain walks over to Iida and Native. Only to once again be forced back by a wave of fire.

"Midoriya, For something like this, give more information than just your location."

Todoroki uses his ice to slide the three immobile heroes behind him.

"I won't let you kill them. Hero Killer. The pros are on their way."

Deku smirks before beginning to analyze.

"He has a paralyzing quirk. I think he needs to ingest blood to activate it."

"Right, I'll keep my distance."

Suddenly his cheek is sliced by a kunai as Stain rushes in.

"I keep getting interrupted today. At least you've got some nice pals Ingenium."

Todoroki freezes Stain inches away from him, but then he tries to like the blood on his cheek. So he ignites his flames and forces him to move away.

Tears stream down Iida's face. As he tries to move once more.

"Why... Why are you guys doing this? It has to be me. I have to be the one to beat him. I inherited my brother's name. So it must be me!"

Todoroki creates a wall of ice blocking the Hero Killer away. He doesn't even look back to Iida as he shakes his head.

"Inheriated it huh? That's funny."

The wall shatters as Stains laughter echo's through the alley.

"Blocking off your line of sight with an opponent who's faster than you?" Todoroki charges his fire on his left side but then multiple blades stab into his arm and one into his side. Todoroki launches a wave of ice forward but Stain is already gone, and dropping from above.

"You're pretty good too." Before he can slice Todoroki his vision is blocked with a fast moving blur of green lightning. Until he can faintly make out a hand in front of his face. Middle finger being held back by the thumb.
