Izuku Pov:

I head out of Gran Torino's apartment. Backpack on and case with my hero suit in hand.

"Thank you so much for looking out for me. Without your training, I wouldn't have been able to fight against the Hero Killer." Suddenly, he hits me in the shin with his cane.

"Ow! Gramps, what the hell?"

"Stop calling me gramps. And don't forget you were fighting against the Hero Killer wearing kids' gloves. He wasn't going all out. But still. I only say that because I don't want you to get cocky. You did great, kid. You have to be more careful about your own self-preservation though. I'm glad you only used your full power in young middle fingers, but you let yourself take hits to land ones of your own. That won't fly against opponents trying to kill you. If you really plan on being a hero to the level of All Might and the Flashes. Remember that you still have a lot to learn."

"Of course, sir. But Still. Thank you for everything. Don't be a stranger. Wally and I would love to see you drop by and say hi sometimes. Maybe we all spar together?"

"So you both can get whooped by an old man?" We laugh as I begin to leave. I can feel myself starting to mumble as I debate ways to further my training while injured, and then get suddenly pulled from my thoughts."

"One last thing! Who are you again?" I laugh and look back at him.

"The future greatest hero. Deku."

The next day in class, I head in and can hear everyone still excited from their work studies. I peek around the corner and see Sero, Kamanari, and Kirishima all bursting out laughing, looking at Bakugo with his hair styled like Best Jeanist. Even I can help but chuckle at the sight. As I make my way to my desk, I see Iida and Todoroki talking. We all feel a lot closer after everything we went through.

"SHUT THE HELL UP CLOWNS!" Bakugo shoots an explosion towards them, and Sero and Kamanari leap behind Kirishima, who hardens through it and keeps chuckling.

"Sorry, Bakubro. Just too funny. Still, it was very Manly watching you battle those things on the news and save those people." The class all begins to quiet with the events of Hosu brought up, as everyone's eyes turn to the three of us at our desks. Mina bounces over.

"We've all changed after our internships, but I feel like the three of you have changed quite a bit."

"Yeah, fighting and beating the Hero Killer is insane." Kamanari says while being held in a chokehold by Bakugo.

"I was worried about you guys." Momo chimes in.

"It was intense, but we really got lucky that he wasn't going all out. And that all three of us were there."

"Don't be modest, Midoribro. The whole world saw you go toe to toe with Stain. When you grabbed his sword and hit that uppercut in his ribs."

The whole class gets hyped up, remembering.

"When Todoroki came in right before Stain could finish him off?" Mina adds to which gets another round of excitement going from the class.

"It was very exciting when Iida came in out of nowhere to land that kick, Kero." Even Tsu adds to the conversation as well.

"I have to admit, though, that speech the Hero Killer gave was pretty cool, right guys?"

"Not cool, stupid." Kamanari looks at Jiro, offended for a moment before remembering what Stain did to Iida's brother.

"O-Oh man. I'm sorry, Iida." Iida takes a deep breath in and smiles lightly.

"Stain was a man of conviction. He gave people something to stand behind. I understand why some would call him cool, but he was also unstable. He let his goals blinded him into losing sight of his real targets. That alone was already enough. An error on the scale of a true villain. I won't let more people go through what my family did. I'll become a hero who can stop people like him. And do it the right way."
