Chapter 3: Babysitting Olly

It was an unusual Saturday at the Springs. Not very often Julio and Jane left the house for a wedding invitation and Tori surprisingly agreed to go with them. They would leave in the afternoon, stay the night after the event in a hotel and be back the morning after.

Olly's reaction when they asked if he wanted to go was as simple as an eye roll and a word: "Boringggg...". So yeah, Olly was off the cards for this plan. And partly because they couldn't leave him alone, and partly because having the posibility to have a sleepover at his with Nick and that he also wasn't very interested, Charlie agreed to stay babysitting.

Well, maybe not that cause Olly inmediately said: "I AM NOT A BABY, I CAN BE LEFT ALONE!"

But this is the Spring family, so that was not happening. And in the end Oliver agreed cause he didn't want to stay alone. Charlie was not telling his parents Nick was coming for a sleepover, cause while they were a bit less strict about his relationship dynamics, he didn't wanna possible create the chaos. So he just said he was coming for a bit in the afternoon. That didn't stop Julio and Jane from telling Olly to keep an eye on them. "You know... just in case", his father said.

Thankfully, no "hanky panky quote" was made to embarass him.

It was a bit different for Nick, cause he was really close to Sarah, and she was always very supportive about their relationship, even a bit playful at times. But obviously in the perfectly endearing motherly Nelson way.

The boys were texting each other just before the elder Spring memebers left.

charlie_spr1: I just wish they were a bit easier to talk to, sometimes I'm afraid to say anything about us that will upset them...

nick_nzzzz: I guess they just care about you so much, I mean, you might not be the older sibling, but you're kind of the first one to have a real formal relationship and maybe they just don't know how to deal with it

charlie_spr1: Oh, so A REAL FORMAL RELATIONSHIP, isn't it? But I see myself pretty alone right now. 

nick_nzzzz: Oi, I see how it is! You wish I was there now, don't you?

charlie_spr1: Shut up, you giant rugby lad, we both know you're even more excited than I am

nick_nzzzz: Maybe I am, in no need to deny it
