They arrived back in Beacon, as a storm began to roll in from the sea.
Emerald: G-Geez... sucky first date huh...? I just bawled my eyes out like a damn baby...
She said as she gently hugged his arm.
Eddie: hmhmhm... it's ok to cry though... and don't let anyone tell you otherwise...
they made it inside, just as the storm arrived...
She smiled and kissed his cheek.
Emerald: I love you, Eddie.
Eddie: I love you too, Emerald.
He gave her a playful lick on the cheek.
She giggled and got an idea, licking him back to see his reaction.
Eddie: Whoa!!
He jumped, touching his neck in shock. She just gave him a sly look, licking her finger and chalking up a point on an imaginary board.
Emerald: thats two for Emerald~
He giggled dumbly, as she waved to him and walked away.
With that, he turned to head to his do-"go after her..."
"Go after her... make sure she is safe..."
Eddie: hm?
His instincts were suddenly telling him to go after Emerald.. he didn't know why.. but he listened to them and went after her, at a distance to not seem suspicious. As she walked she passed a hall... Mercury and Cinder emerged from and walked behind her... and Eddie sensed an abnormal amount of hostility from them... He raised a brow.. and continued to follow, as the storm raged outside. With a lightning flash giving Some cover, Cinder and Mercury grabbed Emerald and yanked her into the dorm, almost as if kidnapping her.Cinder locked the door as Mercury held Emerald, one hand on her mouth.
Cinder: Enjoy your date, dear...?
Emerald's eyes widened as she elbowed Mercury and went to the edge of the room.
Emerald: What the hell is going on?!
Mercury: Guess who has been giving us a stink eye for the whole... fucking day...
He said, glaring at her
the greenette's eyes widened in pure fear.
Cinder: ..You told the Indominus rex... didn't you...?
Emerald: I-I‐
Mercury: weren't you... the one who said how easily his pint sized brother could kill us...? What makes you think that monster will ever spare you?! Spare us?!
Cinder: trying to sabotage our mission is a very dangerous act, Emerald...
Emerald: ...You threatened my life... you said you'd use me as a weakness against him! I went to him because that Hybrid has more dignity, honesty and selflessness then you ever will Cinder! You're Nothing Compared to that beautiful creature and his brother!!!
