I heard a loud thud which broke my trance. I looked at Aditi and realized that she was sleeping while clutching my shirt in her fists. Wait-

shrugging off my thoughts, I placed her on the bed and turned to leave but her grip on my shirt was tight. I tried to loosen her grip but it was disturbing her sleep. I gave up and lay beside her. She turned in her sleep and snuggled into my arms. I stretched out my arm to put her head on it and held her by the other hand.

Aditi smiled, holding a trophy in her hands and looked at her husband smiling proudly at her. There were hundreds of flashes on her and a dozen of mics in front of her. Media, reporters, businessmen, medical directors and the greatest doctors attended her felicitation ceremony.
"Dr Aditi Kadam," Siddharth whispered while holding the trophy and her smile vanished as she saw his figure going away. Suddenly, it was all dark and all she could see was a court passing the order of her DIVORCE.
Aditi opened her eyes, sweating and breathing heavily. She closed her eyes and gulped down, realizing it was just a nightmare. She turned her head to her right side and noticed Siddharth sleeping beside her. The sunrays fell on him and he pulled her into him, hiding his face in the crook of her neck. She gasped and tried to pull away when the thought of divorce struck her. Siddharth felt her moving which disturbed her sleep and he opened his eyes just to witness her struggling to come out of his grip.
"Stop" He whispered in his ever-husky voice.
"Stop struggling it won't help" He pulled her closer and brushed her hair strands off of her face. Siddharth dug his head into the crook of her neck and inhaled her fragrance making her gasp.
"You're alcoholic, well I like our improvement within a week from two separate beds to one single bed" She pushed him away and said
"This closeness and improvement are of no use if you remember your words on our first night, Mr Siddharth," Aditi said plainly and went into the washroom, slamming the door.
"What did I say? Duh, I have short-term memory loss oh please for the love of God, someone tell me what did I say!?" He groaned and threw himself on the bed while keeping the duvet on his head
