"A new transfer eh?" Gaz elbowed Soap as they watched the idle gates of the base. Price had broken news to the men about a new transfer from the Union. Most men who transferred from there were either too pampered with authority and could barely hold a gun, or were too far gone to disassociate justice from war.

Their eyes watched intently as the gates slowly opened, anticipation and excitement with a mixture of fear in their eyes. But as expected it was a woman, or what they expected was a messenger.
"Damn probably another one of Laswells messengers." Gaz groaned, he was far too excited that his expectations exceeded to none.

Soap watched as the woman didn't bother stop at the drop off tent, but instead carried on further toward them, a large bag in hand. Gaz and Soap shared a sleptikal glance at one another before walking together to confront the woman.

"Sorry Ma'am, the drop off tent was back there." Gaz initiated as he stopped the woman in her tracks. Upon closer inspection, she had a mask, similar to their masked lieutenant, but hers was far more scarier. Large sewn gashes across the face as two black holes make up the socket for her eyes. As Gaz wandered closer he noticed she wore a thin layer of fabric over her face, hole cut out to see. Compared to Ghost, she arose a whole new mystery.

"I'm here to see John Price, not for a drop-off." Her voice was firm, cold yet held a touch of her femininity as she fluttered her eyes coldly. "Oh..uh right listen, with all due respect miss. We don't just let "anyone" in just because they call Price by his first name."

The lady sighed and nodded knowing these men were stubborn the moment the gates opened. Rustling through her pocket she yanked a card out, presumably an ID.

Soap gently took the card and held it between the two of them. "Lieutenant Phantom." Gaz read aloud, his face fell pale as he along with Soap immediately saluted the woman. "Should've kept your mouth shut." Soap whispered which was hushed by Gaz .

"My apologies ma'am I was not told our transfer would be um a um..woman." He spoke, his voice was shaky in embarrassment but he knew he had screwed up.

"No hard feelings kid." Although they couldn't see her grin, her voice carried the same emotion.

After the confrontation with the two Sargent, you pushed past them and entered the main building. In doing so you were greeted with the unsure glares of the other soldiers. They whispered things and murmured here and there. *just like the old base.* you cursed to yourself seeming as many things seemed to want to repeat.

I pushed opened the double doors that led to the conference rooms and debriefing rooms. As I approached the last door I gave it two firm knocks. From the other side a gruff British accent erupted summoning me in. Twisting the knob I pushed my way in, immediately introduced to two men. One I knew was Captain Price judging by the badge on his chest and the aura the screamed *im a captain with lung cancer.* The other man, struck my interest, he wore a mask, his the image of a skull, his neck down to his ankles covered in dark clothing. *copy cat.* i sneered to myself.

"I see you've made it, glad to have you here, Y/n." Your eyes wandered back to Price who had the same wrinkly smile he always had when you served with him.

"A union lad eh?" He shrugged almost as if he was surprised by your choice. "It was the fastest way to get where I am, be the strongest and climb..I had a mission." Price sighed taking note that you hadn't changed since your encounter with Makarov. From your peripheral, you could see Ghost eyeing you, his cold dark eyes eating every inch of you being. He was skeptical and had every right to be so.
