Soap pov:

My heart raced with anticipation as I could feel the corse smell of the cold Ireland air. I felt the humid fog settle on my arms as I jumped from the transport heli. The land felt far from familiar yet reminiscent of my days in good ol' Scotland.

My feet met with the grassy land of the safe house I was living in for the next few days as I spent my time preparing to gather intel on my target. My chest was heavy with worry but I knew that this was like any other thing. I sighed feeling content, despite the urgency of this mission, I knew where my priorities stood.

I found myself in the small coastal town of Kinsale, drawn by the enchanting beauty of its small streets and colorful buildings. As I strolled through the peaceful streets, the aroma of freshly baked bread wafted towards me, luring me into a quaint bakery.
The little shop was aglow with warm light and the tantalizing smell of pastries. It was as if I had wandered into a haven of sweetness.

There I was greeted by this young lass. Her gentle smile welcomed me in. "Welcome to our humble bakery," she said softly, her voice carrying the lilt of the Irish countryside.

"Thank you," I responded, my voice unintentionally gruffer than usual. I couldn't help but admire her grace as she moved behind the counter. Her kind features and soft smile as she served the customers. Despite the facade that most workers held, she seemed to hold her kindness and compassion. I awkwardly stood before her, my eyes trailing up and down her figure. "Can I get you anything?" She asked, her voice taking ahold the strings in my heart. "U-um I'll just uh..get one of everything." I instinctively said.

She seemed surprised but complied with the request nonetheless. I watched her intently, my heart racing at the thought of her. I was convinced that love at first sight didn't exist, but I somehow always managed to prove myself wrong. I purchased a selection of pasties, knowing I wouldn't be able to consume them all. But it wasn't just the pastries I longed to savor— it was her presence, her beauty that left me spellbound.
I wanted to say more, but my words caught in my throat. She probably thought I was some insanely obese man which I hoped wasn't true.

As I left I felt this urge to turn back and speak with her, but my chances came to none as she was caught up in a conversation with someone else.

Your pov:

It was a slow day at the bakery, unusual considering we were the only bakery in town and for miles on. I sighed and leaned forward against the counter. It was a humid day despite how cold the air was. Perhaps cold days aren't meant for pasties.

My eyes wandered around the empty cafe as imagined the faces of customers enjoying my freshly baked goods. I laughed to myself feeling a bit delusional at my own thoughts.

The gentle sound of the doorbell rung as I immediately sprung to my feet. A large, sort of rugged man came in. His hair shaven in a way that the middle part made road down his head, while he had light scars on his face down to his arms. I felt alarmed at first, but he posed as no threat as he seemed more interested in the decor of the cafe.

"Welcome to our humble bakery!" I greeted ecstatically, with my usual customer service tone. He seemed to have been caught off guard as he fumbled around with his words.

His gruff voice and harsh Scottish accent made my heart jump suddenly, the way he got nervous made me want to giggle.

"can I get you anything?" He looked around for a moment clearly lost in thought as he stood there aloof. "U-um I'll just uh..get one of everything." I was surprised at his request but, if it meant more money for me I wasn't going to complain. As I fulfilled his order I could sense he was watching me intently.
