For you he'd risk it all. Whether spoken or expressed, your commands were his to follow. Loyal to no one..but you.

"You wanna translate that from bullshit to English?" Gaz roared as he pushed himself out from behind Price. The young lieutenant put his hand out stopping the young Sargent from making any rush decisions. "It means they're on the list." Price concluded. Stepping forward you turned to look at Price and Gaz.

"What list?"

"Foreign terror organization list, I've ordered my men to treat your forces as hostile." Your head whipped around looking at the colonel Norris as if unable to register what had just happened. Alex, shocked and angered stepped forward, "what? They're our allies!" Colonel Norris clicked his tongue at the reluctance to understand his position as he crossed his arm. "Not anymore." An enraged and provoked Price inched toward Norris, his eyes grown into a glare as he spoke lowly, a growl arising from his voice.

"You keep your muppets on short string colonel."

"Or what?" Norris responded clearly provoked, yet still taunted the lieutenant.

"Or I'll fucking hang you from it." Price threatened, his tone implying that he meant every word, his brows furrowed as he watched Norris walk off, clearly unimpressed by the unprofessionalism being presented, but regardless of that, Alex approached Laswell, his voice soft yet begging as he tried to reason with the woman. It was clear she presented much regret to the situation, but she was in no control of what Norris and his men were to do. Alex sighed, frustration and disappointment in not only himself but Laswell, as he felt the need to conclude his decision. "Alex don't..." you said seeing his response to the decision. With a stiff breath he turned and walked away, grabbing his gear. "I'm going back to (foreign country) to stay with Y/n and her army."

Evidently he was determined, and could not be convinced otherwise as he turned to look down at Laswell who tried to reason with him, only to threaten him with the fear of justice and power. "What you're doing is illegal."

Alex scoffed almost with disbelief, though he respected the watcher, he was not one to change his mind. No matter the consequences. "I'm pretty sure everything we do is illegal." He argued, his cold eyes turning to glance at you momentarily as Gaz approaches him, grabbing his gear. "Only the good stuff..you've got friends near by." He inquired offering Alex his hand, offering a peace between them, allowing the vulnerability of betrayal and trust mend the tension.

Slowly you shifted your attention toward Price, his sorrowful eyes peered down at you as he gave you his gruff grin. "Thank you..for everything." You said, your saddened eyes pleaded into his as he sighed, pity yet determination in his voice. "It's not over yet. Trust me." He says, his whisper almost reassuring as he pats your shoulder. The slight rub of his thumb sending a wave of relief over you. "I always have."

He smiles softly as he turned back toward Alex and Gaz. "We'll fix this..I promise." He says as Gaz and Alex share and nod of understanding. The young American glanced over at you with a soft smile, his eyes gentle yet filled with anger as he slowly walk toward you, his hands landing on your shoulders. "Lets go home." He says, talking as if he had welcomed himself into your family, though not by blood, you accepted him with open arms.

"Yes, let's."

Arriving back to the lands of your home, you sighed feeling the dread of betrayal and despair as you watched whatever remained of your men. Their pained epxressions, fear, sadness anything but the happy smiles they once had. Slowly with Alex, you trudged toward the main building of the remains of your base. The crumbled building holding itself up by its weak supports. Pushing past the glances and the soft cry's of the people around you, you made it toward your office, the smell of ash and smoke lingering as all the was left of your office was the small ray of sun what peered through the cracks of the broken stubble.

Alex, watched you with weary eyes, unsure of how to comfort you, or ease the worries that had been thrown to you like a baseball. His lips parted to say something, but all that left was a breath as he retraced his words and cowered back.

"Tomorrow morning we move out, I'll arrange for a temporary base in the meantime..this place is no longer suitable for us."

You explain suddenly, the decision had been made a while ago, no point to argue nor to disagree. Alex looked at you with concern as he stepped forward to grab your arm, but the serious and angered look plastered on your face told him he didn't need to say anything else. So simply he nodded.

"Yes ma'am."

For a while after, you walked alone the dirt road looking around at the ruins of the base, small fires flare up into the night sky as the sounds of soldiers trudged around trying to dig out what was left of their home. A small sigh left your lips as you closed you eyes for a moment, taking in your surroundings, the sounds of the night echoing in your ear as you simply stood there, nothing to plan, nothing to do...no one to see..

"Y/n?"

Alex's gentle voice erupted from behind you as his voice pierced the deafening silence. Slowly your eyes opened once more as you slightly shifted to look at Alex. "What is it Alex?" You asked, keeping your back faced toward him, but your head turned back to give him your undivided attention.

"Are you okay?"

He asked softly, the sound of the gravel beneath him crumbling as he walked toward you, his presence breaking your bubble as he reached forward to grab your shoulder. "I'll manage." Your simple response earned a soft breath from Alex, gently without hesitation, he pulled you by the shoulder as he wrapped his arms around you. His scent and warmth immediately filling your senses as his hand held the back of your head to rest on his armored chest. His embrace, tight yet warm as he rested his chin on the top of your head.

"We'll get through this..I know it." His determined tone filled with compassion and pity..such a reassuring feeling. You nodded your head, unwilling to move away from his grasp, wanting to bask in the warmth for as long as you could. "Thank you Alex." You said softly as you moved your arms to wrap around him as well. Your fingers clasped around the folds of his vest as you closed your eyes, letting him be there with you.

"Yes ma'am."

Alex leaned down pressing a kiss atop your head, though there was no true confession, you could tell the feeling was mutual. That no matter what, he'd be by your side and serve you.

Till death do you part.
