"Gaz has fallen out the heli! He's hanging by a string!"

Nikolai yelled through his com as the heli had been hit by an rpg. He lost control as the blaring alarms never ended.

"Hang on Gaz."

You screamed trying to maneuver the vehicle you were currently hangin out of while one of Farahs men took over driving.

Reaching out you latched onto Gaz's foot trying to cut the rope, but the ragged road and formulating dust caught you off guard ultimately causing you to fall out the truck window.

"Fuck, Nikolai, pull up!!" You screamed as you clung onto Gaz who struggled to keep himself from scraping his head off.

"(Y/n), I thought you were helping!" Gaz screamed from below as he tried to keep his foot tied to the rope. "I tired sorry Gaz."

You awkwardly hung on trying to not kill the both of you the the process.

"6 o'clock gaz, I'll take his buddy."

Using the momentum of the heli Gaz spun around shorting the guy on the back of the truck while you took the other.

"Upcoming truck, when I say go lift us up as high as you can and I'll cut the rope."

Nikolai was hesitant as the higher he went the most likey the engine would burn out causing the thee of you and possibly more to die.

"Just trust me please."

He could never say no to you.

"Now lift Niko!"

On demand he lifted the two of you up as you cut the rope sending you and Gaz tumbling down onto an enemy truck.

You swung your leg tripping the soldiers digging your knife into his neck a few times before tossing him over. Gaz took initiative of the vehicle as you covered from behind.

"Thanks Niko."

He gave you a weak thumbs up as he slowed down falling back from the convoy.

"Stay safe (y/n)." He said once more before cutting off his radio.

"Laswell, where are you?"

Fire and dust accumulated through the dry hot air as you and Gaz managed to crash the last car exporting Laswell.

From a distance you noticed Price and farah walking up towards the black suv.

"Gaz open it." Price demanded, but before he could reach the door, Laswell followed by the captor flew out the door landing harshly on their backs.

"Laswell clear, Kate move."

Price demanded once more seeing as she struggled around a bit trying to strangle the man.

"No...he's mine." She grunted, snapping his neck with the back of his rifle.

"Check it."

Gaz swiftly scoped the vehicle being sure to aid Laswell while she panted in exhaustion.

"Clear." Gaz confirmed.

"Kate it's over, it's over." Price reassured as she struggled to catch her breath, likey from all that smoking.

"It's a family reunion."

"Wouldn't miss it." You retorted patting her arm reassuringly.

"Farah."

"Nice moves Laswell."

"You too, all of you, especially you (y/n), hanging out that heli with Gaz, now what's news."

You sighed feeling prices glare as you knew he was going to reprimand you for doing something that endangered you as well as gaz.

"Look I'm sorry ga-."

"It was my fault, the control on the 'copter gave out."

Nikolai had somehow appeared out of thin air, intercepting the banter your revived form Price.

"Just glad your safe." Price said before walking off with Laswell, leaving the two of you alone.

"Nikolai, you're hurt." You reached forward subconsciously rubbing over a cut that slashed his face.

"I could say the same about you."

He took notice of the blood that ran down your face when you were slammed onto the truck when you cut yourself and Gaz free from the rope.

"It's nothing really, I'm glad your safe, the heli took a hard hit."

Nikolai laughed a bit,

"Ah nothing I've never dealt with before."

You laughed seeing him so free despite the current setting and reason of your conversation.

"I was worried, scared that I'd loose you when you fell out the truck."

He held your hand that was situated on his face and leaned in feeling the calloused sores from countless hours of your training.

"It terrifies me to know you got hurt on my watch."

He knew that when he spoke with you in such a way you'd fall for his words, his kind and soothing voice complemented his actions.

"So in the future promise me you'll be more careful?"

You smiled, taking your other hand, you grabbed a hold of his scared face bringing him in for a kiss.

He was surprised but returned the favor, feeling the moment.

"I promise."

"Good."
