Azel looked at the serene face of the man who was sleeping peacefully keeping his head on her lap. 

   By looking at him now…no one can say that he was the one screaming and crying sometimes ago. He was the one who was scared like a lost kitten. 

   Now he looked as calm as a river. But…only she knew about the storm that passed through him. And she also knew that tomorrow morning, he is not going to remember any of it. 

    A lone tear escaped her eyes once more…when she wiped the tears that stained his cheeks. She took the wet tissue from the night stand and gently wiped his face.

    His whole face was still red…from all the crying.

 ……Azel's POV:

   I am sorry, Re. I am sorry for being such a liar….when I promised you that I will always be honest with you. 

    But…but how can I? How can I tell you the truth…when I know that it can put your life in danger? 

     I know you have every right…to…to know the truth about your life…your family. 

  And I know you never expected such kind of a betrayal from me. Out of all the people, me..your Wild cat…whom you trust more than anyone…with whom you share anything and every single thing…is keeping you in the dark. I am not sharing things with you…over which you have the foremost right to know. I also know that..by hiding this from you…I am not doing right.

   Do you think I am being selfish here? But what…what else can I do? What option do I have except for being selfish? 

    Re, I…I don't want to lose you…I can't…I just can't lose you. I will die..without you. In order to keep you safe…and healthy, if I needed to become the most self centered person time and again…still I will not regret it. 

   GOD please keep him safe from every bad thing. May he get my lifespan as well. 

Please don't let anything bad happen to him. He already suffered enough…please.. don't let him suffer more. Give me all of his pains, his sorrows, his tears…everything. And bless him with happiness…all the happiness of this world..please GOD, I beg you.

    *(Azel prayed to GOD folding her hands…her eyes were closed from where tears were flowing continuously. After she poured her heartfelt wishes to the Almighty, she felt a little at ease. 

   But that didn't even stay longer as another thought seeped through her mind…making her tremble in fear.)*

    But…but what if you remember your past one day? What if you get to know that I knew it…all of it..from a long time. Then? What will happen then? What will you do? 

    You will not misunderstand me for anything, right? You will forgive me..for the sin I am committing, won't you? You will never leave me, na?

   Pl…please don't leave me…ever. You are all that I ask for. Stay with me like this..please. Please don't forget about me…please.

 Azel sobbed hard, holding his hand into hers…in a tight grip. Her firm hold onto him was speaking of how much she needed him…how much she was scared of losing him. 

    She was crying while pressing his hand with her forehead…when she felt a soft caress in her hair. Lifting up her gaze, she met with another pair of moist eyes.

   "I…I am sorry, dear,"Rehan's mother, Ava spoke..guilt was clearly audible in her voice. 

  Azel quickly wiped her tears, trying to compose herself a bit.
