Today I was having my first ever meetup on the playlist stage. I woke up around 8 and my meetup was at 12 so I got in the shower washed my body and hair then I got dressed in a navy blue and white striped summer dress and white flat shoes with a white cardigan material kimono. I recreated an Ariana Grande hairstyle on my own hair and performed my daily makeup routine.
By the time I was finished eating breakfast it was 11:10 so I grabbed my phone and purse and made my way to the main stage. I was walking down to the stage when I passed Caspar so I decided to make him jump. He was talking to Joe so being the ninja I am I crept up behind him and jumped on his back causing him to scream. When I jumped off his back I saw Joe rolling on the floor with tears coming out of his eyes.
"Sorry to ruin your conversation I just wanted to say hi before I attend my meetup." I explain
"No worries, I loved the entrance though!" a laughing Joe said.
Me and Joe high fived then I made my way to the mainstage to complete my meetup.
--SKIP THE MEETUP--
At the meetup I met around 5000 people in the space of 3 hours which I think is incredible. Because it was 2:00 in the afternoon I decided to meet up with Tyler Oakley who is another good YouTuber friend of mine and see if he wanted to hang out because his meetup was about to end.
Niomi spotted me on the way and gave me a massive hug which I returned.
"Lauren where are you going?" She asked.
"To meet Tyler I wanted to surprise him cause I haven't seen him in ages!"
"Oh great! Do you mind if I join you it's just Marcus has gone with Alfie to have an interview with Hollywire TV so I'm left on my own?"
"Of course! And besides is Tyler didn't want to hang out then we can still go grab something to eat!" I said.
She agreed and we soon found the building where Tyler was supposed to be. We walked in to an empty room which was weird but then I heard Tyler talking to someone behind the curtain. I told Niomi to be quiet while I pulled back the curtain. She put her thumbs up to signal she understood so I silently tiptoed towards the burgundy curtain and pulled it back as fast as I could causing Tyler to fall on the floor and dropping his phone.
"LAUREN OMG YOU'RE HERE!" He screamed loudly.
"I know I can't believe it! I haven't seen you in forever! I've missed you Tyler." I responded.
We hugged and then Tyler hugged Niomi.
"So what are you guys doing?" Tyler asked.
"Well we came to see if you wanted to grab something to eat with us because we're hungry." Niomi told him.
"Well obviously I'll eat." Stated Tyler.
I clapped my hands and linked arms with Tyler and Niomi and we strolled out of the empty meetup room and made our way to Chipotle. Despite it being a summers day I was getting very hot so we ditched the idea of getting Chipotle and got ice cream instead which you can't complain about because it's ice cream!
Me, Tyler and Niomi were walking around the streets chatting about random stuff when Niomi's phone started to ring.
"Hello..yeah...calm down I'm fine....yeah I'm with Lauren now and Tyler.....okay be there in a minute......okay love you see you in a bit...bye"
End of phone call
"What's up?" I asked
"Well everyone has been looking for us they were worried and they want us to come to Louise's room asap" Niomi explained.
"Let's go then!" Tyler said.
We got to Louise's room to be bombarded with hugs and questions about where we was and if we're okay and Joe and Caspar were really worried about me I felt loved but scared at the same time. We were called to the room to be notified that Oli (white) was coming and we were going out for a meal to celebrate to a fancy resteraunt.
I can't wait to meet Oli in person!
