Chapter 6 - Welcome Meal

I was getting ready for the welcome meal for Oli. As we were going somewhere fancy I contemplated on what I was going to wear but I finally made a decision on my burgundy shift dress and black heels with my hair all curled and a halo braid and I did my makeup how I usually would but adding a smoky burgundy eyeshadow and a dark red lip colour.

I then grabbed a black cardigan and my black purse and phone to text Caspar.

*hey come to my room with Joe so I don't look like a loner walking to the lobby😝 xx*

Waiting for Joe and Caspar I sprayed my perfume (Ghost) on me so I smelt nice. Browsing through Twitter I heard a knock on my door, I opened it to reveal Joe and Caspar in buttoned up shirts and black jeans.

"Wow you look incredible Lauren!" Joe complimented me causing me to blush.

"Yeah you do!" Agreed Caspar.

"Thank you guys, you both look spiffing aswell" I returned in my poshest accent I could manage.

Once I made sure I was ready we made our way to the lobby arm in arm. In the lift we met Alfie, Zoe and Tyler.

"Girl you look good!" Tyler said emphasising the good.

"Thank you but I tried to make an effort" I replied.

"Zoe you look amazing!" Zoe was dressed in a blue and white skater dress with white heels and accessories with a fancy bun.

"Thank you Lauren so do you!"

The journey to the restaurant was made by cab. Me, Zoe, Alfie, Joe and Caspar in one cab and Marcus, Niomi, Tanya, Jim and Tyler was in the other. The name of the restaurant was Italian and because I don't know any Italian I was unable to pronounce it.

Caspar got a text saying Oli was meeting is in about 15 minutes so we all waited outside for Oli and because it's California it obviously wasn't too cold. Finally after waiting for a length of longer than the expected time Oli arrived and when he did I was so happy.

Joe introduced Oli to everyone that he didn't know and I was last.

"Oli this is Lauren, Lauren this is Oli." he introduced us.

"H-hi I'm Oli"

"I know" I replied chuckling.

We all sat down and ordered our drinks. I was sat next to Caspar and Alfie with Joe opposite me and Oli to the left of him. All night I kept catching glimpses of Joe and Oli staring at me out of the corner of my eye which I thought was very strange but I brushed it over my head.

Being as fun as I am I left the ongoing party early to catch a good night sleep seeing as jetlag has taken over my sleeping schedule for the past two nights and surprisingly Oli came with me. We got a cab back to the hotel and I found out Oli's room was four doors down from mine. Before we left each other Oli said he wanted to ask me something.

"What's up Oli?" I questioned unsure of the answer.

"I wanted to know if I could get your number?" He looked down at the ground.

"Sure! Here you go." I said telling him my number and he gave me his.

Usually I would hug my friends and it would be over with but when I hugged Oli good bye I felt a weird feeling and I was unsure of what it was...

Before getting into bed I got changed into my night attire and performed my nightly routine before tweeting about the lack of vlog for the past day or two and promised there would be more up soon and then I text Oli goodnight and fell to sleep.
