Chapter 12 - The Continued Nightmare

Even though the traffic is usually horrendous on a night but tonight we actually got back to the boys apartment pretty quick. I kept thinking about the events that happened earlier, Oli wasn't the person I thought he was, I feel so stupid.

Joe carried me upstairs when we reached the apartment block then placing me on the sofa. I thanked him also reminding him that I could've walked but he insisted. Seeing as Caspar went downstairs to clean himself I decided to take the time to ask Joe what really happened to his face and hands.

"Joe I know you're lying to me about what happened to your face." I said in a little voice but loud enough for him to hear me.

"Lauren, I don't want to confuse you any more than you already are so let's just talk about this tomorrow."

I nodded my head but I still wanted to know what actually occurred. Joe told me that I could sleep in his bed with him if I wanted and I felt like I should because of Oli came here and I was upstairs on the couch asleep who knows what could happen he probably would continue the previous happenings.

As I descended the staircase Joe passed me some of his clothes which I would wear as pyjamas. I entered Caspar's bathroom and cleaned of my face, took out my contacts and changed out of my outfit. Luckily I had a brush in my purse which actually tamed the mess of my hair. With my head thumping I gave Caspar a hug goodnight and went into Joe's room placing my stuff on a chair and getting into the bed with Joe.

"Are you sure your okay sleeping in bed with me Lauren?" Joe asked.

"Yeah I feel safer, are you okay with it?"

"I offered so of course I am, if you want I'll hold you until you fall asleep." He told me.

I nodded my head and moved closer to Joe wrapping my arms around his torso but not so I am squashing his body. As my eyes got more tired and I was drifting in and out of sleep I heard Joe whisper something into my ear.

"Lauren I wish you liked me back."

And with that I fell asleep.

"Oli h-how did you g-get in the doors are locked."

"Oh Lauren that's not gonna stop me getting what I want."

"Please Oli leave me alone."

"No I won't"

"Please help please pleas"

My body shot up out of bed I was welcomed by Joe hugging me.

"Lauren what happened you were having a nightmare." He said.

"Oli came back to get me and tried to finish what he started." I said starting to tear up.

"Shush it's okay let's go back to sleep."

I agreed and lay back down with him again cuddling into his chest.
