Chapter 15- Nandos and Offers

Joe's POV

"I have a plan... You could tell her about that night and then tell her how you feel then ask her on a date but take her out of the apartment maybe I'll ask if them lot want something to eat then you go and tell her then and ask her out." Zoe says.

"Okay let's put this plan in action."

Lauren's POV

"What are they doing down there?" I ask Caspar curiously who just shrugs his shoulder in reply.

Finally Joe and Zoe come upstairs asking if we want to eat which we all reply with yes and we all wanted Nandos.

"I'll drive there if you want?" I say.

"I'll come with you." Joe tells me.

I nod my head and after taking everyone's desired meals I grab my purse and me and Joe head to my car. I start the car and away we went. When we had to stop at a traffic light Joe turned to me.

"Lauren I need to tell you something."

"What's a matter Joe?" I asked.

"Well you know the night the mistake happened and I told you I fell in the bathroom...I lied."

I nodded for him to carry on whilst I carried on driving.

"The reason I looked so bad was because the person that saved you from Oli...it was m-me. Lauren I like you so much I have for ages but I've never actually admitted it to myself until a few weeks ago. I want to go on a date with you." I open my mouth in shock.

"If y-you don't want to t-that's okay." He looks down.

"Joe of course I'll go on a date with you! I've liked you for ages I've just never had the courage to tell you." I reply.

We finally park up at Nandos and order everyone's meals. The total came up to just under £30. On the way back to the apartment Joe told me he was going to take me out on Saturday leaving me two days to find an outfit and I have a meeting about my ep on Friday morning.

As soon as we entered Caspar and Alfie swarmed us asking for food. I have them the bags and went to the kitchen to get a drink. When I was gulping down my drink Zoe joined me.

"Soooo did he ask you?" Zoe said.

"Yes, and I said yes but how did you know?"

"I talked him into it, he was a bit shy."

I laughed and gave her a hug. Out of the corner of my eye I say Joe smiling at me and I returned the favour.
