Chapter 14 - Back to London and Visiting Joe and Caspar

When I eventually wake up I check my phone to see that it's 9 o'clock. Because I didn't have a shower last night I thought that I should have one now. Me being me still asked Zoe if she was okay with me having a shower which she was. I thanked her and then jumped in the shower allowing the warm water run down my body taking all the pain away from my aching muscles.

I finally get out the shower and get dressed. The clothes I brought were black jeans with slit knees, a black crop top and a green and black flannel and instead of my chelsea boots I decided to bring my combat boots aswell. Once I get downstairs I find Alfie feeding Nala.

"Good morning how did you sleep?" Alfie asked me.

"Great thank you, how about you?"

"Good thanks, Zoe said something about us visiting Joe and Caspar cause they have news."

"Oh cool."

Zoe then arrived in the kitchen and told me that she was going to go see Joe and Caspar and that I was more than welcome to join. Nevertheless I joined due to not seeing them since the night I stayed over after what happened with Oli.

Joe's POV

Today Zoe and Alfie were coming over and I was going to tell them about my plan to take Lauren out. See for the past few weeks after she stayed with us on the night that Oli made the biggest mistake of his life I couldn't take my mind off of her. I keep seeing her beautiful brown hair and imagine how soft it is to touch and I imagine her blue eyes glistening in the sunlight.

Anyway before they come I need to get the apartment into shipshape because it's a mess. It was now half 11 leaving me only an hour to get stuff ready so I vacuumed, washed the dishes, dusted and sorted out the sofa and I even cleaned my bedroom leaving Caspar to do his. By the time the cleaning was completed it was ten past 12 so I jumped in the shower and got properly dressed. I wore jeans and a casual white t-shirt.

Lauren's POV

I followed Zoe and Alfie to Joe and Caspar's because I was going back home after the visiting. It actually didn't take that long to get there even though there was a little traffic jam on the motorway. We finally pulled up at their apartment complex and I parked next to Zoe. I knocked on the door.

Joe's POV

The door went whilst I was playing a game of Fifa with Caspar so I paused the game and opened the door to reveal Zoe, Alfie and... Lauren. Oh god what am I gonna do now I'm not gonna be able to tell Zoe my plan now!

"Come on guys!" I welcomed them in giving them each a hug.

I am now freaking out. Other than myself right now Caspar is the only person who knows my plan with Lauren. I ask Zoe to help me with something in my room leaving Caspar with Lauren and Alfie. When we enter my room I silently shut the door to make sure nobody hears.

"Soooo what's wrong?" Zoe asks.

"I need your help with something concerning Lauren." I say.

"What exactly?"

"Well iwanttoaskhertobemygirlfriend." I say extremely quickly.

"I didn't hear a word of what you just said. Repeat it SLOWLY!" Zoe replies emphasis on slowly.

"I. Want. To. Ask. Her. To. Be. My. Girlfriend." I repeat.

Zoe started to jump up and down clapping her hands.

"Oh my god Joe I never knew you liked her in that way!"

"It's ever since what happened with Oli I can't stop thinking about her! Will you please help me with a date and that?" I say a bit embarrassed.

"I have an idea...." Zoe replies.

A/n - I hope you liked the difference in POV and I will be doing this a lot more not just with Lauren and Joe I'll do it with other characters when it needs to fit in the story.
