Chapter 7 - Home and Mystery Girl

It's been two weeks after playlist and I'm back home. Today I'm going to meet up with Joe, Caspar and Oli. These past few weeks have been great! Me and Oli have become really close and I think I've got feelings for him but I'm not chancing anything because I know he doesn't feel that way.

Firstly I showered then I dried my hair and put it into a milkmaid braid leaving my bangs free. Because it's August I wore my black highways red shorts which had a multicoloured striped pattern on them paired with a white scalloped hem crop top and a black kimono and to complete my look I put on my black sandals. I then performed my makeup routine excluding foundation because my face was bronzed from the sun rays.

Caspar texted me earlier telling me to meet them at his and Joe's apartment so I left my apartment and got into my car driving to their apartment complex. Being stuck in traffic is not fun! It took me an extra ten minutes to get to the boys apartment.

"Hey why are you so late?"Caspar asked once he opened the door for me.

"That's nice I don't get a hello before I get asked what took me so long! But if you must now the traffic was dreadful." I explained annoyed.

"Well Oli is coming in about five minutes and Joe is just downstairs getting ready."

"Okay I'm just going to pop to the toilet." I stated.

I made my way downstairs and went to go to the toilet but as just as I opened the door I was welcomed by a half naked Joe. Damn his abs are good. Lauren you're staring.

"Lauren are you okay?" Joe asked.

"Y-yeah I'm fine sorry I was just coming to say hurry up" I laughed the awkward moment off.

I rushed upstairs feeling more embarrassed than I ever have before to find Oli and Caspar talking so I decided to eavesdrop.

"You like her?" I hear Caspar say.

"Yeah dude she's amazing it happened very suddenly if I'm being honest I'm actually surprised at myself."

I wonder who this girl is. I knew he would never like me, I felt my heart break into a million pieces. I decided to wipe away my tears and interrupt the conversation considering i had heard enough.

"Hi Oli how have you been?" I said as fake happy as I could manage.

"I'm great how are you?" He hugged me.

"I'm not too bad" even though you like another girl, my mind added.

We let go and then Joe came up and we headed out to shopping. Before we actually hit the shops we went to Starbucks. I got a caramel creme frappucino. Obviously because I wanted to browse different shops to the boys we split up.

Whilst looking in ASOS Oli told me that he hand finished his shopping so came to look for me and wanted to ask me something.

"Lauren, there is this girl I like and I don't know how to ask her could you help me?" Oh god.

"Of course! Just come right out and ask her on a date because you are a straightforward person so if she can't take that then there is no point in even wasting your time on them." I said even though it pained me.

"Okay then here goes nothing, Lauren would you like to go on a date with me?" I was gobsmacked!

"Yes of course Oli!" I whisper shouted.

"Great how about tonight at 8?"

"That's great"

Now I have to find an outfit.
