Chapter 22 - Boxing Day at Zalfie's

I was up and getting ready to go to Zoe and Alfie's today to give the gifts we had got them for Christmas. As I stopped over at Joe and Caspar's I was getting ready there. Today was going to be chilled so I packed a pair of slim leg black joggers and paired it with a black sweatshirt that says 'I woke up like this' in white font and my trusty black vans. For my hair I just put it in a high pony and I wore minimal makeup. All of us were ready at half 10 so we jumped in my car and set off for the Zalfie household after I got petrol and some food for the journey ahead.

It was about half 12 when we finally reached Zoe's and I don't think the boys could've got out of the car quick enough. I grabbed the bags out the boot and lugged them to the front door. We were greeted in by Alfie and Nala and I made my way into the living room where Zoe was sorting out the presents.

"Zoe!" I screamed like a typical white girl.

"Lauren! You're here!" She replied.

I gave her a hug and thanked her for letting us come over. She said it was fine and she couldn't wait for me to open my presents. Before we actually got to the present opening Zoe made everyone a cup of tea and I helped her by making a plate of biscuits. When everyone was satisfied with the tea and biscuits we got around to giving out presents. Caspar was the first to open his from Zoe and Alfie which were a onesie covered in pizzas and a joke set. Joe got a scrapbook and a microphone for his gaming channel. Zoe and Alfie gave me the very generous gift of a shopping voucher and Pretty Little Liars cluedo inspired board game. I thanked them both for my gifts and now it was there turns.

Zoe received a Polaroid camera and a baking book off Joe, Caspar gave her some shopping vouchers and a apron. For Zoe I got her a sweetie hamper full of all her favourite sweets and chocolate and a pair of vans that she wanted when we went shopping but eventually didn't. For Alfie I got him two beanies and a personalised penny board, where as Joe and Caspar brought him two presents that they both put towards of adult heeleys (as a joke) and a new camera.

After dinner we played three games of Pretty Little Liars cluedo and every time Joe lost!

"This game is stupid!" Joe said.

"Joe's getting mardy cause he isn't winning!" Zoe laughed.

"Not its just that I've never played before and you guys are more clever than me!"

"Aww Joe don't worry you get better with practice." I say kissing his cheek.

We stopped playing at about 6 and then watched 'Elf' and then we just had a massive catch up. Because we were all sleeping at the Zalfie house we set up the rooms. Caspar got the living room floor and me and Joe got the guest bedroom.

"Before we all go to bed, Joe I don't want no funny business." Zoe warned Joe making my cheeks flush.

"Don't worry Zoe! That will not be happening for a very long time!" I reassure her.

Joe looks at me with a shocked expression which I laughed at and then I made my way up to bed after thanking Zoe and Alfie for letting us stay and then giving everyone a hug goodnight and giving Joe a kiss.

"I'll be up in a bit babe." Joe kisses me.

"Okay." I reply giving him another kiss.

I entered the guest bedroom and changed into my pyjamas. I then plugged my phone in and decided to look through Twitter before going to sleep, Joe then walked in on me laughing at my phone screen.

"What are you doing?" He asks.

"I find it funny how our subscribers have no idea that were together and they ship us anyway." I say.

"It is pretty crazy but I think we should announce it soon because we have been together for two months."

"Yeah but I want to wait a while until atleast five months so I know that I won't get attacked by angry fangirls because I'm with you."

"Okay that's fine but we could ease them into the idea?"

"Yeah." I say before Joe gets in the bed and cuddles me to sleep.
