Chapter 42

Aarav's POV:-

I was sitting in my office when I got message from Iftiya telling about all the chaos that happened there!!
I was really worried about Diya
What if she finds out what we are trying to hide from years .
It will not be good nothing will be in peace if she gets to know that !
Because it will hurt her a thousand times more than I did in past ,
Infact if she gets to know that this is the reason of all that trauma and pain she went through then she will definitely lose hope from each and every people.
It's better if things go as per I decided.

I was being hell worried thinking about all that past things and Ankit noticed it .

"What happened Aarav ? You look strange suddenly!?"
Ankit asked coming towards me as he was sitting on sofa of my office .

"Nothing everything is fine it's just I was thinking what will be going on there !" I told Ankit

"Don't worry everything will be fine , it's not she went to her enemy's house , she went to her father's house only !" Ankit said with a laugh

"No Ankit you don't understand!"
I asked getting up from my chair

"What !..?" He asked confused

I just stated silence without any reply

"Hope there's nothing that you're hiding from both of us ! "
Ankit said while putting his hand on my shoulder to pacify me .

I felt sorry and my heart shivered with a pain to know that the trust they both are treasuring with me is what they are losing !!

I need time to think regarding this.
I think it's time to change everything!
I decided with a fluke of air passing through my face.

Ankit's pov :-

He seems to be a little wierd since the day she left !
Don't know what's wrong with him but still I hope that whatever happens doesn't affect anyone specially Diya like before.

Aarav was sitting in window side sofa with his fingers continuously touching his lips and the lines of stress clearly visible in his head.

Seeing him like this only makes me feel one situation and that's ..
Did Aarav already fell for her ? I asked my conscience and my heart knowing the exact answer that I expected but I also know that asking him will be of no use inspite of that it'll make his situation worse !

You all know the most exciting part of a love story is when your heart knows that you're in love but your mind is not ready to accept it and worst is that your situation also doesn't support it !!!

And right now my friend is going with the same phase of his story !
But sometimes they don't have someone to guide them and just because of that a beutiful love story remains incomplete but here I am my friends love guide !

Let me spice it up !!!!

I went towards him and sat beside him in sofa , well seeing him zoning out like this is something unusual.
Not just to tease him but I genuinely feel that he loves her and deep down he knows that but its just he is not able to accept it .

He takes himself guilty for a thing that I can guarantee he didn't done !
I feel a bit strange that why he never took a stand against it when he knows that he didn't did that .. sometimes it feels like he is actually going through something that I don't know but....

"Why are you so serious man ! "
I asked him with a accent of laugh

"I am not in mood Ankit ! " He said jerking off my hands

I knew that it was not the right timing so I just went down to get him a cup of tea to cool him down a bit !

As I reached down I decided to call Iftiya..
After two rings she answered!!

"Heyy !" I said as soon she answered the call.

"Hii..." she said sighing

"What happened? Is everything fine !"
I asked being worried and confused

"Yeah.. maybe I also don't know what's wrong! " She replied in a sad tone

"What are you doing? " I asked her changing the topic

"Nothing just laying on bed! " She replied

"You got nothing to do ? " I asked her

"Nope !" She replied instantly

"Iftiya tell me honestly, did something happened? "
I asked her being serious as something seemed off to me

"Yeah a little bit of drama but it's fine let it be we can handle that.."
She replied giving me assurance

I just hummed not knowing what to say !

"Uhm.... how's Aarav ?" Iftiya asked suddenly being hesitant a bit

"He is fine.. why ? " I asked her

"Nothing I just thought he must be sad ! "She replied instantly

"He is.. but I don't know why there's not a reason to be this much sad..
He is even blurring out I don't know why !"
I told her and my Tea was also ready!

"I can understand! " Iftiya said sighing and sounding sad

I again hummed not knowing what to say but one thing was clear that something was off !

"How's Diya?" I asked bring out a topic

"She is also same as him ! " Iftiya said

"Why ? She is also missing him ! "
I asked her out of sarcasm

"Ofcourse but many more things also!"
Iftiya replied.

"Yeah..." I replied

"Ok I need to go ! I'll talk later..
Bye bye ."
She said

"Sure ! Take care ! Bye."
I cut the call , put my phone inside my pocket and start walking inside !

I reached Aarav's office and entered finding out he fell asleep on sofa !
Keeping His hands on his head and folding legs he slept in same posture !

I kept his tea aside and stared at him to realise that this innocent creature is going through so much actually and he always tries to keep all of it Inside .

I bring out my phone and clicked a picture of him with a filter of puppy face to send to someone and cheer up that person's mood too !

Sent...

I walked out of his office and decided to finish my work !

As I entered my cabin ,I looked up to find out a person sitting on sofa with back on my face !

'Excuse me !!? ' I said waiting for a turn or reply from that side !
