Alex slowly opened his eyes.
It was so dark. He waited for his eyes to adjust, but they never did.
What happened?
Slowly, it started coming back to him.
Why am I not dead? I should be dead...
He sat up and looked around. He definitely wasn't in the closet anymore.
"Don't worry." He jumped and looked around.
No one was nearby. No one could've said that.
"Remember what I said: follow my instructions and you won't get hurt."
He realized it was Sarah.
Should I listen...?
"Do as I say and everything will go just fine. Start walking."
Alex walked until Sarah said stop.
"There's something there. We must wait until it's gone. I'll tell you when to go."
Alex could barely breathe. What was happening?
Am I...could I actually be...?
"Go."
He kept walking for a moment.
"Stop. He smells you. He can't see, but he'll try to find you. He can hear you now. Don't make a single sound."
Alex held his breath and tried not to move, horrified.
"Run!"
Alex ran as fast as he could.
"We're almost there. Keep running until you see the doors."
Alex ran until he reached a set of doors and he froze, waiting for Sarah to tell him what to do.
She stayed silent.
"Welcome."
He jumped and looked around.
A very tall man with bright red eyes walked out from between the doors.
"Where am I?" Asked Alex.
"You're in-" the man stopped and studied Alex for a moment. "You shouldn't be here..." he mumbled, stepping closer.
Alex took a few steps back.
"I won't hurt you. You have nothing to worry about." The man told him, taking his hand and pulling him closer.
He stepped behind Alex and brushed his hair out of the way.
"You've got nice hair..." mumbled the man behind him.
"Th-thank you...?"
Alex pulled his hair over the front of his shoulder to let the man do whatever he was doing.
He seemed to be checking Alex's back for something.
"So it is you..." the man mumbled, fixing Alex's shirt and walking back around to face him.
"What do you-?" Alex started and the man cut him off.
"I had to make sure it was you. I was checking for the scar on your back."
"Who are you? Where are we?!"
"Somewhere you don't belong...what happened?"
"I was just visiting my brother...his friend came to the door and wanted to show me something in her room."
The man seemed to have just realized the cut on Alex's neck.
"Who did that?" He asked, gesturing to the cut.
