!TW!~ Brief mentioning of drinking, non-consensual touch (no bad intentions), fighting, implied homophobia, shouting, implied domestic violence, child abuse

"How would you guys feel about it?"

"I'm down if everyone else is."

"Yeah."

Alex had been talking to Shawn and Marina about trying to hang out sometime with Erebus, John, Sarah and Damien. Just the seven of them going out to a restaurant or something and getting to know each other, because Shawn hadn't met any of the others and Marina didn't know any of them very well except for John, who she hadn't talked to in a while.

He planned on talking to the others about it when he got home. He wasn't sure if Damien would come or not, considering his current situation, and he also wasn't sure what John's schedule looked like, but he figured Erebus and Sarah could probably come.

"How's Caroline been?" Asked Marina. The question was extremely out of the blue and unexpected, especially for Marina to be asking it.

"She's been alright. She's started having nightmares a lot, but other than that, she seems to be doing fine. Why?"

"Curious, I guess. I haven't heard anything about her since she quit drinking."

"I thought you didn't care." Said Shawn.

"I don't like her, that doesn't mean I don't give a shit about her." Sighed Marina. It surprised Alex a lot; he thought Marina hated Caroline.

"Oh hey, it's five." Said Shawn, looking at the clock on the wall. "Good luck, Marina."

"You're abandoning me." Said Marina, as Alex and Shawn clocked out.

"Yep." Shawn waved. "Have fun."

"Bye, have a great night." Said Alex.

"The chances of that happening are very slim. Be safe, boys."

The two walked down the parking lot to Shawn's car.

"So, who is Jackson?" Asked Shawn. "I didn't even know he existed until yesterday."

"He's my friend, we've known each other for a month, more or less."

"How did you guys meet?"

"A very uncomfortable situation. I'd rather not repeat it."

Shawn looked at him, suspiciously. "He's not a weirdo, right?"

"Not in a bad way, no."

"How old is he?"

"Why does that matter?"

"Just curious."

"I'm not really sure. I'd assume late teens or early twenties."

"How often do you guys hang out?"

"Here and there. We've been hanging out a lot more here recently."

"Is he your type?"

"Shawn!"

Shawn laughed a bit while Alex just stared at him.

"Where did that come from?!" Shouted Alex.

"Curiosity, you know. Marina said she thought you guys were 'sus'. That's how you know she's a zoomer."

Alex face-palmed.

"You didn't answer my question, which leads me to think the answer is yes." Said Shawn.

"The answer is no."

"Do you even know what your type is?"

"I don't really think I have one. I don't do the dating thing anymore, so it doesn't matter."
