This is a note from myself, the author. There are going to be changes to this book because the more I think about it the more I realise how unnecessarily graphic I made certain things.

I want to apologise and also I want to try to explain without trauma dumping.

I'm not going to say what I was going through because I'm a little embarrassed about it and also it's not really the internets business, it is just my life and I don't really want to share that much information. But I went through something very bad around the time I started publishing chapters of this book, and I think I subconsciously expressed my pain in various forms through this book and also made it more controversial than it has to be for absolutely no reason.

I will certainly be changing the age gap between Alex and Erebus. I know it's not a particularly big age gap, but because Alex was a minor when they started dating, it is weird in hindsight. Legal in the area this story takes place, but still weird.

I'm also going to try to make some of the scenes more realistic, because a lot of them were just pointing out how much this guys life sucks in ways that don't make that much sense.

Sammy's character will be changed a bit, Caroline's probably will and Amy's probably will. Not because they're controversial, but because they weren't written realistically.

Like I said, a lot of scenes will be edited or removed altogether. Some were more graphic than I'd now like for them to be, some were extremely unnecessary and some were just straight up stupid and/or made no sense.

If you frequently read and enjoy this book, I'd recommend rereading the book because there are certain bits of lore that are going to be changed.

I'm really sorry about this. I wish I waited to start releasing chapters instead of changing my mind and editing so much of it halfway through. 

I can't express enough how much it means that anyone reads this book. It's not very well-written and has a lot of controversial topics, so I wasn't sure if anyone was going to read it, but it has over 400 views?? Like, what? Thank you guys, so so much.

Also, this book was kind of steered in a direction I didn't want it going. I feel like it's getting less about demons and the afterlife and more about intimacy. I don't even enjoy reading about sexual stuff that takes itself seriously, I can't believe this is the kinda thing I've been writing. I promise I'm going to steer it back on track, it's just been hard to do it subtly.
