Althea had stayed back at the house while her father went to pick her sister up from the airport. She had offered to help finish setting up Bella's room which was beside her own while Charlie's room was in the bedroom downstairs. Though whenever Billy and Jake would stay the night, Charlie would give up his bedroom for his friend to sleep in while he slept on the couch or in the guest room which was now turned into a room for Bella. Charlie had let Althea take the lead in decorating since he didn't necessarily know what Bella would even feel comfortable with. He hadn't seen her in a long time, no one could blame him for being a little lost when it came to his eldest daughter.

The younger Swan girl could only imagine how awkward the car ride was for the two of them coming back from the airport. Grateful that she was saved from sitting there, while Charlie probably tried to make conversation with Bella. Althea knew it wouldn't come as easy to him with Bella compared to how it was with her. He knew his youngest child like the back of his hand. While his oldest was slightly like a stranger to him. Never really wanting to visit, and barely stayed on a call long enough with the man because they never could hold a conversation.

Finishing up some last minute lunch which was some egg salad sandwiches with some fruit salad on the side. Althea knew her sister didn't eat meat. From the times she would visit her and her mother in Phoenix for a few days, she knew of Bella's diet. Wanting to make sure her sister at least had something she could feel comfortable eating the first day there, Althea had thrown it all together rather quickly. But she also knew her father well enough so she had put a bag of potato chips on the side since it was likely that he wouldn't touch the fruit salad even with watermelon mixed in it.

The sound of tires coming up the gravel part of the driveway alerted Althea that they had arrived back home. Charlie honking the horn had notified the girl that she was indeed correct on their arrival. Making her way out onto the porch, Althea watched as her older sister stepped out of the cruiser to look up at her childhood house. Bella's eyes soon fell upon her sister who stood on the porch looking over to her which caused the older Swan to smile. No matter if she was in a gloom, Althea was like a ball of sunshine to Bella.

"Al, you gonna make yourself useful and help or am I going to have to do all the work?" Charlie called over to his youngest daughter who rolled her eyes at her father.

"Haha. That's so funny coming from you. Last time I checked, I'm the one who makes all your meals, dad," Althea pointed out with her arms crossed over her chest. Walking down the stairs towards the car, Bella had gone around to meet her sister on the other side.
