chapter two - the move in

(ivys pov)

we pulled in the driveway.
"okay so let's just go in first to get the boys to help get your bags" lucy said as i shook my head in agreement.

we walked in the front door and phoebe and julien turned around from the couch. they both got up "oh my gosh i heard im so sorry" phoebe said walking up to me hugging me. "thank you it's okay i'm here now" i said as we broke the hug. julien walked up to me and hugged me tight, "how are you doing?? i'm here if you need me for anything" she said. "thank you so much jb, im okay" i replied smiling. we all talked a bit then brought all of my stuff in.

"okay, jb can she sleep with you until the bed for the guest room comes in?" lucy asked.
"yea of course!! do you wanna come put your bags in my room?" julien turned to me, "yea" i said smiling as she took my hand to show me where her room was.

Lucy's POV

as soon as julien and ivy walked out i turned to phoebe, "they look like they have a crush on eachother..i'm not the only one who sees it right?" i asked. "no i definitely agree, did you see the way jb looked at ivy?" phoebe asked. "that's what i'm saying!!" i said.

Ivys POV

julien took me to her room, it had fairy lights on the walls and around the window. there were many vinyls hung up on the wall, and a bookshelf with multiple books and little trinkets on it. she had a few band posters as well. "i like your room" i said turning to her and smiling, "thanks!!" she replied as i nodded.

we walked back out and we all sat on the couch talking, my phone started to ring. my phone read

Mom ❤️
answer             decline

i turned my phone to all three girls, "should i answer it?" i asked. "see what she wants" lucy said rolling her eyes. i answered, putting it on speaker.

"hello?"

"honey i didn't think you would actually leave, where are you? are you safe? are you on the streets?" she asked.

"you should've been thinking about that before you threatened to kick me out. i'm fine, and i'm most definitely not telling you where i am." i said with shaky breath.

"honey please come home! i'm sorry!" she pleaded,

"no mom, you seriously should have thought this through. this is all your fault, bye." i said hanging up, releasing a breath i didn't know i was holding.

i hiccuped into a sob, but quickly hushed myself as lucy hugged me.

time skip to 1AM

i couldn't sleep at all. i had been trying to sleep for an hour and a half and couldn't, there was far too much on my mind. i turned over to julien surprisingly being awake.

"can't sleep?" she asked, "no i'm thinking about a lot right now" i said forcing a smile. "talk to me" she said scooting closer to me. for some reason i got butterflies in my stomach.. but it's probably just because im stressed. "i just.." i hiccuped again, "shit sorry" i said as my voice broke, and i started sobbing. "you're okay, it's okay, let it out." she said, pulling my head into her chest.

after sobbing for what felt like ages, i fell asleep in juliens arms.

time skip to 9AM

i woke up to lucy taking a picture of me and julien as our bodies were tangled together, i flipped her off. she giggled and said, "time to get up" then walked out. i looked up at julien, she was looking down at me smiling. "sorry for falling asleep on you" i giggled, "it's okay i didn't even realize" "good, you're hella comfy" i said grinning. she laughed as i finally sat up where she was freed.

i walked out into the kitchen, yawning and seeing lucy standing there. "oh good it's you! come on" she said dragging me into her bedroom. "what... the hell?" i said confused, "okay. what's going on with you and julien" she said. "what... lucy what are you on about?" i said in the same unison, "i can see a spark" she said giggling. "what? no!! i just.. got sad or something last night.. and she let me cry" i said. "not that! like... the way you guys look at eachother. there's something there." she replied. "oh my god, NO!! let it go. please." i whisper screamed as we walked out, and she just shook her head.

julien was standing there, i looked to lucy with wide eyes. "hi" i said awkwardly as lucy laughed. "hi" she said, giggling the same way lucy did. i just went to sit on the couch.

i figured phoebe was asleep, considering lucy woke us up at 7AM. it was now 8AM but still too early for me to be awake. "yo pheebs just got back from the doctor and is at dunkin. do you guys want anything?" lucy yelled from the kitchen. "HELL YEAH!! tell her to get me coffee" julien yelled from her room,
"a blueberry bagel please!!" i said back.

phoebe got back with our dunkin and we were all eating at the bar in the kitchen. "don't you live close to a beach? we should go" i said
"yea! tides are just high so we have to be careful" phoebe said chewing her bagel.
"yea it'll be fine though i think, if we don't go out too far" julien replied. "yea, but you're a dare devil jb. not far to you, is awfully far" lucy said, making us all giggle.

i borrowed one of lucy's old bathing suits, it was a bikini which i never wear, so i felt a little self conscious. i put a cover up on over it for the drive to the beach.

(a/n: hi!!! i'm hoping you liked this chapter!!! i know there's a lot going on but i want this to be drama FILLED because personally that's the only way i can read or else it's boring. i'm guessing you can tell i wrote this on my way to the beach (it's july 17th irl!!) so yea i thought that was a good idea. thank u for reading this if u are!!! 1073 words)
