"Jungkook, all I'm saying is that there was no need for you to be that rude to Lucas. He was just trying to be nice-" "Nice???" Jungkook abruptly turned to his girlfriend as no matter what he tried, nothing worked to simmer his anger down.
"He was ALL OVER YOU! He was deliberately touching your face with the pretence of tucking your hair behind your ear. He wouldn't leave your hand after a high five. His gaze was NOT that of a friend's! How difficult is that for you to understand!?!" Jungkook had taken big steps without realising that he had cornered the small girl against the wall.
"There never was and never will be anything between Lucas and me. I have known him for twice as long as I've known you, Jungkook. He sees me as his sister and nothing else. -" "Maybe" Jungkook shrugged his shoulders. "But if given a chance he wouldn't think twice before pouncing on you. I'm pretty sure he would even take you if you were to be under influence of drug!" Y/N pushed Jungkook away a bit as she was feeling unsafe in that situation for him to be in her personal space.
"That is too much, Jungkook! You should have at least some trust in me even if you don't trust Lucas!" Y/N said disappointed at her lover.
"Y/N, he was fucking checking you out. He was ogling at you! His eyes wouldn't leave your ass and I saw how a couple of times he reached for your boobs but stopped!" Jungkook was holding her by her shoulder. This made her scoff and shake him off. "You imagine too much!" She replied. "Lucas respects me and-" "RESPECT, MY ASS!" Jungkook yelled making her whip her head towards him.
"If he respected you, he wouldn't have been eye fucking you the entire evening in front of your boyfriend AND his own girlfriend! He was staring at you with predatory eyes. Why do you think he was insisting so much that you drink when he KNOWS you don't touch alcohol!" Jungkook raised a brow as a rhetorical gesture.
"Did I not tell you that you were looking extra hot and beautiful tonight? Did i not tell you that you would become centre of attention once you'll step out? Did i not warn you that every single man, taken or single, would have a double take on you??? Did i or did i not?" Y/N was now adding two and two together as she was recalling every single gaze on her and most of them being of men.
"You seem so desperate for male attention when you wear clothes like this that I feel like you don't need me anymore. And if it's like that, then I don't need you anymore!" Y/N's breath hitched as Jungkook brought up something she could not have thought of even in an eternity.
The heavy blanket of silence and the tension between the two; Jungkook must have realised he had said too much and crossed the line because of the way Y/N avoided looking him in his eyes.
"Jungkook, I understand what you mean but there is a reason why I never get scared of wearing clothes that could entice others. It's because I only dress up like this for you or when you're going out with me. You always made me confident enough to wear anything i liked because I knew you would be there to protect me if something was to happen. You always talked about how you would save me in an apocalypse." She smiled at the fond memory.
"You always said I was all you ever needed and more than that. You said you desired me like you had never before. And now you say you don't need me anymore." She finally looked him in his eyes with pools of tears gathering in her eyes.
"Am I correct in thinking that your words mean you want to b-break up with me?" She asked in a small voice fearing that her sobs would make way out of her throat.
"Do you mean it when you said i looked desperate for male attention? Do you really think that?" She asked to confirm it. "Why do you think I dress up so much? Why? Have you got any idea?"
"I don't want to embarrass you when we go out! You are so fucking pretty and handsome. You dress like you don't have a care in this world and yet you manage to garner attention in your loose tee and track suit bottoms! Your smile lightens up the room that i feel so content when i see it on your face. Your laugh drills happiness in my heart. And the way you had always looked at me made me feel like I was the only one in your world. As if I was worth it. As if I was worth YOU. But you ruined everything with that statement of yours. You're making me question if you still love me?" Y/N had always been straightforward instead of keeping her feelings inside her. She valued communication very much, thus the reason why an introvert like Jungkook was able to speak his mind with her.
She gulped and licked her lips feeling them drying while waiting for Jungkook's reply.
"Are we really breaking up right now Jungkook?" Y/N asked one last time giving Jungkook a chance to recollect his thoughts and understand the graveness of his words.
"Do you really not need me anymore, Jeon Jungkook?"

"If only I could take those words back!" Jungkook was on his knees in front of his lover. "I need you like the air I breathe. I need you like the food I eat to live. I need you to stay alive and survive in this world. Please forgive me for what i said in the heat of moment because I know there are men who are far better than me and more suited for you. It was my insecurity and jealousy projected into those words that I hurt you so badly. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. Please forgive me!"

I honestly wanted to end this OS where YN asked him about their breakup but I wasn't sure how everyone would like it so i did add a bit too but i leave the rest to your imagination.
