"Have a wonderful rest of the day," Miss Bae smiled as she concluded the class on Thursday.

"You too," was chorused around.

Yerim stretched her arms and sighed in content.

"Woo, another day is over!"

"Yep, and now we have to do homework," Juhyeok complained.

"You? Complaining?"

"What? Can I not express my feelings of frustration?"

Yerim laughed sheepishly.

"Sorry."

"No worries. Is your mom gonna be here soon?"

"My dad is picking us up this time; he has a day off."

"Oh really?"

"Yep."

She packed her bag and stood up.

"Come on, he may be here already!"

"Coming!"

Taehyun took Soobin's words of advice, and contacted the Byun couple to schedule not just one, but many play dates.

For one reason.

In the process of scheduling, the three adults revealed their job hours. Taeyeon only has shifts from 8am to 11:30 am unless it's an emergency at the veterinary, and Baekhyun usually works more in the evening.

Unlike Taehyun, who needs to be in the office most of the day.

Upon hearing that, the Byun couple instantly offered picking Juhyeok up from school and bringing him to their house to stay with Yerim until Taehyun finishes work, neither hesitating or asking suspecting questions.

It once again assured Taehyun there really... was nothing to fear with the Byun family.

And just like Soobin predicted, the kids were overjoyed.

Baekhyun had prepared a pot of spaghetti for the two, which was sitting on the table, waiting to be eaten.

"Something quick and simple," he smiled.

"Thank you," Juhyeok said.

Yerim was already munching on them, while Juhyeok took his time to eat and savor the taste of the food.

"Do you understand science?" Yerim asked between bites.

"Yeah, and you?"

"Kinda. I still have difficulty in telling the types of rock apart."

"Oh but that's easy!"

"Because you're smart!"

Juhyeok laughed.

"Come on Yerim, you just have to memorize that some rocks are built through pressure, some through volcanic activity and others through sedimentation."

"What's sedimentation again?"

"NOONA!!"

Yerim giggled.

"Sorry!"

"Aish..."

Juhyeok pushed his now empty plate aside, which Baekhyun picked up soon, and took his workbook out.

"Okay, I'll explain it to you again."

"Yay!"

The two kids spent most of the afternoon together occupying their heads with science and math.
