December

🎶: 'till i met you' by Johnny Orlando

The first snow had already fallen on the first of December. The trio sat outside on the benches in the snowy playground, with some blankets to keep them warm.

"Man oh man, am I glad there are just a few weeks left until break," Jinsong said.

"Yup. No school work for two and a half weeks," Yerim agreed.

"And we also don't need to stay outside in the cold," Juhyeok commented.

"Wait; you don't like the cold?"

"Nope."

Jinsong gasped.

"What?! How?!"

"It's cold... I prefer warmer temperatures."

"Pfff you're boring! No snow, no hot choco on cold evenings; how can you do that during— OW!"

Yerim had given him a fist on the head.

"Hey, everyone can have their own opinions!" she scolded.

"Sorry!"

Juhyeok giggled.

"It's fine. The winter is okay too; I just prefer the summer more. You know, you can head to the beach, eat ice cream, eat lots of watermelon too; you name it."

"You can do that in winter too," Jinsong huffed.

"I know—"

Juhyeok's sentence was interrupted when he felt something hit his head. He yelped from the shock and held his head, looking back.

"Who was that?!"

Yerim scanned the area.

"I don't know—"

"I do," Jinsong replied, his tone dark.

"Who?!" Yerim and Juhyeok asked.

And as if the devil was summoned, Rowoon appeared with his friends.

They were definitely up to no good, especially because of who their target was.

Yeah, ever since Juhyeok beat him up in September and told him his place, the two of them have not exactly been on the best terms.

Both usually steered clear away from each other, but not this time apparently.

Rowoon had a bunch of snowballs with him, one of which he was busy throwing up and down while smiling mischievously.

In Juhyeok's point of view, that smirk made him look more childish and cringey than intimidating but he didn't want to start a fight.

After all, someone was already doing the job for him.

"Oy Kang, I think you're in the way," he taunted.

Juhyeok sighed and rolled his eyes.

"What do you want, Rowoon?" Yerim asked.

"Nothing bad!"

"Sure, seeing how you purposely hit Juhyeok on the head!"

"Can you prove that to the teachers?"

"I will, one way or the next!"

"Noona, please," Juhyeok whispered.

Yerim gave him her 'are you sure' look, and Juhyeok nodded. She sighed and faced Rowoon and his clique again.
