Nothing against Tyler as a character.

The Hyde doesn't exist in this, and Tyler is simply a boy with a crush.

And Xavier claims Wednesday as his...right in front of his face.

....................

Wednesday was well aware of Tyler's crush on her. And she couldn't care less. Her and Tyler had had their up's and downs, but remained "Friends" the whole time. But she didn't like him like that. She liked someone else.

She liked Xavier.

She would tell Tyler to back off. She would tell him that she was all Xavier's, that he stood no chance. But after Tyler had bullied Xavier last year, she didn't want to give Tyler another reason to pounce. Love did crazy things to you, and Wednesday cared to much about Xavier to let him get hurt because she couldn't ignore some stupid high school crush.

Xavier was well aware of Tyler's crush, and it only gave him another reason to hate him. Wednesday and him had been secretly dating for almost three months now. Not even Enid knew, and they planned on keep it that way.

Enid had shipped Wednesday and Tyler since they met. And Wednesday would continuously shut her down. She would tell her she didn't like Tyler. Not even as a friend, and especially not in a romantic sense. And Enid would say how cute they would be together. And she would say "No."

And Wednesday despised everyone who mentioned Tyler around her.

......................

Wednesday was in Xavier's lap, fast asleep, her face shoved into his chest. A random horror movie played quietly in the background. Xavier sat there, brushing his fingers through her soft dark hair, leaving small kisses on her forehead every few minutes or so. She slowly came to her senses after a scream of a victim sounded from the TV.

"Oh, sorry love. Did the TV wake you?" He mumbled softly, reaching over to the table to grab the remote and mute it.

"Yeah."

He re-positioned himself, relaxing into a more comfortable position for both him and the small girl on his lap. He threw a soft blanket over them and hugged her tightly. Their relationship had gone very far. She was no longer uncomfortable with any form of physical contact. She had already given him her virginity. The three months felt like forever.

She loved him more than she ever thought possible.

"Hey Nes?"

"Mhm?"

"I wanted to talk to you about Tyler."

She groaned in her head. The pathetic normie barista, what a mood killer.

"Why?"

"I'm tired of him giving you heart eyes every time you're within 20 feet of him," Xavier sighed. "Wednesday, can we just go public? I understand you wanna protect me, but I'm pretty sure he left his toxic friend group and isn't harmful. At least, not as much as he used to be."

"Xavier, everyone is harmful when something or someone gets in the way of what they want."

"Wednesday-"

"How about this, we stay secret for the next month. Then, after that, if he keeps the heart-eyes or whatever you want to call them, we go public. Put him in his place."

He seemed to roll the thought around in his head. "Yeah, assuming you haven't dumped me by then." He joked.

"Xavier, you make that joke every week. It was never funny, and it won't be. Now shut up and turn the TV back on."
