Anyways, enjoy this one-shot requested by @milevensjade

After graduating Nevermore, Wednesday finds herself at a gas station and Xavier happened to be working there

.................

Graduation had been an interesting experience that Wednesday will not forget. The tears, the happiness, family. Disgusting. Her parents had come, but mostly kept to themselves. Pugsley stayed home.

But that was over, and Wednesday was no longer in school. She decided to wait a year or two before heading off the college, not 100% sure what she wanted to do with her future.

She hadn't kept in contact with many people since the end of Nevermore. Keeping contact with Enid and Eugene seemed like a priority, but no one else was on her list of 'Important friends.'

.................

It was almost 12:00 am and Wednesday was traveling home. She had gotten her drivers license officially a week after graduation.

She looked at the gas tank and hissed as it showed low.

"Shit."

She sighed and pulled over, fishing her phone out of her coat pocket.

Searching for the nearest gas station, Wednesday breathed out a sigh of relief when she realized it was only two miles away.

She resumed her driving, praying she would make it. She hardly had any gas left. She pulled over after three minutes, pulling into the deserted, quiet dark parking lot.

She got out and began attaching the gas pump. After about five minutes, she reached the remove the pump. Only it didn't budge. "Fuck, don't tell me your stuck."

She tried again, yanking on the handle of the gas pump. She groaned as it didn't remove itself from her car. She looked over at the store area of the station. There had to be someone in there. Someone who would help her out, surely? She left her car, a small bubble of anxiety creeping in her stomach. What if they couldn't help her? How would she get home?

The door dinged as Wednesday entered the station. She stormed up the the cashier area and was shocked to see Xavier, in a old pair of headphones sipping a coke, scrolling on his phone. His legs where propped up on the desk. He looked up and Wednesday saw her own shock reflected in his eyes.

"Xavier." She breathed, eyes wide and innocent as she looked at him.

He hurried to remove his headphones, setting them and the coke down on the desk and shoving his phone in his pocket. "Wednesday?!"

It had only been six months, she didn't know why he was so shocked. "No, I'm someone who looks identical to her."

He rolled his eyes. "What do you need?"

"The-The gas pump got stuck in my car." She turned red, pointing a finger in the direction of the door. She didn't understand why she was embarrassed.

He chuckled and shook his head. He stood up and adjusted his pants before coming out from behind the counter. "Show me."

She led him outside, showing him the gas pump that had lodged itself in her car.

"Yeah, this happens a lot. I'm not sure how to fix it, but I can try." He informed her, reaching over and attempting to unlock the gas pump from her vehicle. He repeated this multiple times, before sighing and looking at her. "Listen, I'll call the owner in, he knows how to fix it. How about I drive you home, cause this might take a while."
